Let's see those CERAKOTED firearms!
#1
Gotta couple, to kick things off!

Kimber TLE/RL II - coated by Amelon Firearms LLC, in Amherst, VA - http://amelonfirearms.com/

Got this from an LEO on another firearms board. He is his Dept's certified 1911 & Glock Armorer - he did the custom bob-job on it as well.

This was a competition piece for him, and had about 8k rounds through it, when I got it. The finish was rattle-canned on when it got to me.

BEFORE: Confused

AFTER: Cool

Yes, I also added the Wilson ambi-safety and Chip McCormick ultrathin Rosewood grips as well.

Tactical Tool Box AR-15 - coated by STS Arms, in Mapleton, OR - http://stsarms.com/Coating.html

This project started out as JUST a Noveske rail I bought off uaheclipse, that looked so GOOD, I decided it needed a little rifle to go with it. Tongue

I didn't want to coat the rail itself, but I got a stripped lower in trade with Sam at Tactical Toolbox, and he offered to cerakote it as part of the deal - any color I wanted. I'd been thinking about a Magpul FDE rifle for a while, and decided to take him up on it. I quickly found a DSA A-3 stripped upper from someone on 'that OTHER site,' and sent it along for him to do as a package deal. Here's what they looked like, when done.

BEFORE:

Well, one thing led to another, and Sam ended up building my upper, too - you can read more about that at my FDE rifle thread. As a unique feature, the barrel itself is cerakoted, although the rail and F/H are not, for a UNIQUE contrast.

The WHOLE finished product, looks like THIS.

This is my HK P7, it is half silver-ceramic coated. The Slide is hard chrome, the frame is ceramic.

It's an old joke among HK owners, because one of their ads in a gun periodical years ago, had a mag loaded backwards.
