Let's Talk About North Korea
#1
Although I don't watch television anymore nor do I follow any MSM outlet, I do however subscribe to a few different YouTube channels that cover some of the headlines coming out. The last weeks and months have seen more and more attention to the subject of NK and recently the news has given this more air time. I would like to hear everyone's thoughts on this. With the threats and provocations coming from the DPRK are we coming close to another Korean war? I wasn't kicking when the last Korean war happened and can only base my observations off of the notoriously untrustworthy news media's reports but it seems to me as if things are reaching a real breaking point this time. Either the war profiteers are drumming up support for another war due to the end of our current one or the threats are becoming perilous in the NK peninsula. Now I know we've seen the stories of threats like these from the DPRK time and time again but this time it is different. With NK developing nuclear weapons, successfully launching long range ICBM's, cutting the main communication line between the north and south, positioning their resources in combat readiness and the US flying B52 drills in the south and more recently B2 runs along with other military drills in the southern peninsula, how much longer until we are in a full out battle?

I think conflict is coming fast...NK's new leader is a nut case and is bent on jacking us up. MSM just announced yesterday that NK is aiming rockets at USA mainland and SK bases as well as Hawaii and Guam. He's crazy enough to start an attack. I'm also scared about how Obama would handle a conventional or nuclear attack on any of our assets? I'm sure he would find something to apologize about and give them a second chance!

A Reading from the Book of Armaments, Chapter 4, Verses 16 to 20:

Then did he raise on high the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch, saying, "Bless this, O Lord, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy." And the people did rejoice and did feast upon the lambs and toads and tree-sloths and fruit-bats and orangutans and breakfast cereals ... Now did the Lord say, "First thou pullest the Holy Pin. Then thou must count to three. Three shall be the number of the counting and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither shalt thou count two, excepting that thou then proceedeth to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the number of the counting, be reached, then lobbest thou the Holy Hand Grenade in the direction of thine foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."

I think the most likely spark to conflict would be a miscommunication between the north and south now that the main communication line has been severed. This will undoubtedly provoke another strike on the south. We've seen it before with the attack of a SK ship and shelling of a nearby island some few years ago that killed something like 50 South Koreans. Given the current climate though, I don't think sanctions and hand slapping will be the outcome of something similar happening.

North Korea scares me. They are a people who, when faced with famine, ate their own children rather than speak out against their own government, which insisted there was no famine. They're the most militarized nation on earth; every body is considered gov't property, everyone is indoctrinated from birth to die for their country, and everyone of them have been raised to believe that we deserve death.

People have worried for decades about China; they may hate us, but they're too sensible to declare war on us, and they know they can only push their people so far, before risking another Tianaman Square incident on a national scale. The latest boogeyman has been the Islamic world. Isolated incidents have, and will happen, but a full scale war with the Islamic world is a redneck fantasy. No, North Korea worries me, because they want it, we don't take them seriously, and their people will throw themselves at us gleefully.

What is it, something like 1.5 million active and upwards of 9 million reserves? Couple that with a country that literally has nothing to lose and everything to fight for and successful satellite launches that could easily be retrofitted for a high altitude nuclear explosion creating an EMP, I think its nothing to scoff at and easily dismiss. Sure, a ground war or a surface to surface strike by the DPRK will probably never happen but I highly doubt they will try playing conventional warfare in today's world.

The Second Amendment does not GIVE us the right. It tells the gov they can not infringe our right.

They are currently doing some seriously atrocious concentration-camp style stuff to their prisoners. Read this account from a survivor, and keep in mind that this is happening right now.
