Liberals actually hate Obama's policies.
#1
Typical Obama supporters, not letting facts get in the way of their blind zealotry. I find this interesting because it reflects a lot of what I hear on the radio when a liberal decides to call in to disagree with the radio host. Whether it be 770am, 990am, 1210am or 106.9fm.

One in particular always makes me laugh out loud when I think back on it. The Obama supporter called in to respond to the statement made by the radio host along the lines of "When will Obama supporters stop blaming Bush for everything? When does Obama become responsible for the Obama presidency?" because they were blaming Bush for the economical crises in a newspaper article he was discussing. When the Obama supporter got on the air he said that "We will start blaming Obama for the economy when he does something as stupid as lowering taxes during a war..." the host, being Michael Medved cut him off "He did. Obama did lower taxes during a time of war." Not only did the Obama supporter refuse to concede the point following further explanation, the Obama supporter actually started going ballistic.

Another interesting phenomenon that I witness quite frequently is an Obama supporter, or just a liberal in general come out with some factually false statement about Obama or Obama's policies and when they're corrected they accuse the radio host of being a racist or a part of the deep-seated racism that exists in the country. Can you say, mass media brainwashing?

These are simply voters uneducated about the issues who are voting based on race or party.

I know a person (online) who is very well educated, articulate and knowledgeable about the issues who thinks Obama is about as fiscally conservative as Ronald Reagan. But she is a socialist who is looking at the country from the left of Obama.

Real liberals, socialists and communists hate Obama because he did not go far enough. They wanted a bigger stimulus, a second and third stimulus, single payer healthcare, immediate end to the wars, huge tax hikes on the rich, more subsidies to green energy, gay marriage, etc. Obama said he was for those things but never fought to achieve them. THAT'S why liberals hate him.

Basically, it's the same reason conservatives cannot embrace Romney but will vote for him anyway. He is too far to the center.

I'd venture to guess that the majority of liberals are equally ignorant of the facts. They may not understand the liberal ideology and it's inevitable consequences. Yes they put their time and energy towards the liberal movement ignorant of what it really means. Being a liberal requires very little and even less thinking and reasoning. If you think everyone should be wealthy, the hungry should be fed, the naked should be clothed and the rich should be generous; you have what it takes to be a liberal. Now; there's nothing wrong with those ideals inherently, but, there's more involved in politics and policies than ideologies. Much of it lies in how those goals are accomplished and what the consequences are. I think that even without throwing off those ideologies and simply thinking reasonably and logically about how to accomplish those ideologies transforms one in to becoming more conservative. Especially when examining the facts.

Racism, the left's go to answer for anything critical of Obama.

As for the tax lowering idiot, did he not watch a single debate?
Obama repeatedly touted how he lowered taxes and brings it up every time he's on the stump.

Seriously, I think the founders got it wrong when it came to voting, there should be a test before you can vote.
A simple current events quiz, 10 questions is enough, need to get 7 correct to vote, whom you vote for after that is no concern of mine, but at least we would know voters are informed at least slightly.
Some people need to read this book: http://www.amazon.com/dp/1936976021/ref=...jwbZH1GAZF

I think one question would be enough.

"Do you think our current president should be replaced?"

Yes?.............ok you can vote.
"The colors, the colors. Has anybody seen my good friend John?" Then he lit up a banana and he hung up.

That's an example of that sort of problem may arise with any voter requirements. Something doesn't have to be that extreme or obvious to be considered racist, biased or the media's new favorite term disenfranchising. Especially if error on the survey or questionnaire actually barred one form voting. If I had to guess what the root cause of the mass ignorance is; I'd peg it equally on education and media. The downright ignorance and stupidity demonstrated by the American people everyday is a testament to their failures. It's not that the masses aren't taught anything, they're taught misinformation. Everything else they make-up as they go along. Videos like this, real-life conversation and Facebook arguments illustrate these points vividly.

The sad part is, they fully believe they're informed and intelligent. Just watch the video and check out the couple of females who appear to present themselves as intelligent and informed citizens. It makes me sick.

That about said it. My dad (74yr) will still kick the living crap out of me if I would behave as stupid, dumb and ignorant as the vast majority of my age is behaving today. The problem is that most people don't give a hoot about what happens to the next generation.
As long as they can maintain and uphold that second car, the parties and the bragging.

I have a sister in law (we call her Tina Wannabrag) who will vote for anyone that can provide her with the things I mentioned above. She does not give a F$%k about what will become of her kids, as long as she has a good life then all else is meaningless to her.
These are the people we have to deal with. People with higher education and with their head straight and firm on their shoulders will think twice before voting for "the One" again. "The One" who is causing all of them to spend numerous amounts of dollars......dollars they thought would be safe in their accounts.

It's definitely a societal issues. Which I believe is based on ignorance and misinformation. The idea that here and now is all that matters is a result of that belief system. It's destructive and obnoxious, and it's a product of our education and media systems.

Much more ignorance than misinformation. People like to be fooled and it's their ignorance that does exactly that.

I strongly suspect that the majority of employed male "liberals" are either trying to fit in with a certain (hipster) crowd, or chasing liberal tail.

It doesn't take a dissertation to explain the motivation!
