M1A gun show price?
#1
I've not been to a gun show since Newtown. I've noticed at my local shops since Newtown, the retail price of a Springfield M1A is up about $100 bucks across the board for all models. I'm thinking about going to the Oaks show this weekend and seeing what they have. I'm thinking about looking at a Standard M1A or Loaded with the walnut stock either new or slightly used. Can anyone who has been to one of the recent shows in our area seen what the ballpark price has been at the shows recently? Any info is much much appreciated.

I don't know about gun shows, but in gun shops I've seen them going for $1,400+. I wouldn't expect to see a new one going for under $1,200 or even $1,300.

cant speak for shows but online they havent seemed to have changed too much. As I am currently looking to add one to the collection I let me know if the show price for a standard/loaded is above 1600.

The cheapest I saw at the Oaks show was a standard with a synthetic stock for 1550, no wood stock model was under 1650.

Just received a Atlantic Tactical Catalog in the mail. Page 109,
Springfield Armory. MIA STANDARD RIFLE:
7.62x51mm NATO, Composite: $1,378.95
" " " " Walnut: $1,401.95
If this is their retail price without tax, not a bad price for either one.

You guys are lucky. The Atlantic Tactical in Philly only sells firearms and ammo to LEOs.

That's retarded. I can't wait for the day they build the Cabelas in DE. All the stores in Northern DE from what I can tell raise their prices to match the after tax prices in PA, because they damn well know they can get away with it.
