Dumbass . . . .

Money down the drain, at the very least. Dodgy

Wonder if someone paid him to do that just to make this video?

I respect his decision to not own a firearm. I do not respect his opinion that others shouldn't own any type of a firearm. his opinion should not affect my rights.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was an anti the entire time, went out and bought an AR (with his money or from some liberal organization), and destroyed it to make it look like "true" gun owners even think "assault rifles" should be outlawed. If he really did own that rifle and wanted to get rid of it, he could have either sold it, turned it in at a police buy back, or destroyed it without making a youtube video. This is just liberal propaganda.

LOL. He does have that rather wild eyed, frazzled look we've all come to recognize in the anti crowd so easily, doesn't he?

I kinda thought the same thing. A bit contrived, but he may be a recent koolaid convert. No zealot like a new convert . . . .

Did I hear a whiff of a New York accent?

This is nothing more than unbridled ignorance. It's happened before, except the instance I'm thinking of was far more cruel. During the first world war, sentiment was so strong against the Germans that people even turned on German Shepherd dogs. Even dogs that had been in the US or UK, as well as their ancestors. No matter — they had German in their name, they're doomed.

In response, German Shepherds were hastily renamed Alsatians, a name that remained until recently.

This is our version of the Salem Witch trials. Exploiting a misadventure to whip up fear for secondary benefit, blame and punish the innocent, and sidestep the fallout.

I was duped to get an AR? But I don't take something that in this climate is worth easily a grand, and smash it. Guess I am a sucker.

But he has no problem with people hunting.
He also has no problem showing agression against an inanimate object using force, and a lethal weapon. Lets face it, hammers are statistically more dangerous than "assault rifles".

Personally, between wasting the money, and projecting aggression on objects. His use of a weapon. I would suggest he seeks help from a professional. You toss in an irrational fear of an object. And those are all the warning signs of a potential issue.

Sure, now he is hitting a piece of metal. How long until he starts hitting his wife? Or even some random person on the street?

They want to play the fear game. I'll play. And I will win.
This will be the best security for maintaining our liberties. A nation of well-informed men who have been taught to know and prize the rights which God has given them cannot be enslaved. It is in the religion of ignorance that tyranny begins. -Ben Franklin

Quick observation: guy is an unstable narcissist, fitting the profile of the last 5 mass shooters in the news lately. I wouldnt trust him a butter knife, let alone ANY type of firearm. He's done us a favor.
