There are no bad dogs, only bad owners. I hope the pit's owner gets punished. Just be glad police didn't show up and shoot all four dogs, I guess.

I don't. Are you saying that there are dogs born that are inherently evil?

They don't know good from evil but they are bread for certain tasks such as fighting. I have close friends that have them, had them at my house and disagree with me but there are certain breeds I just don't trust completely.

I just spent three hours at the shelter working with a bunch of pits.
I thought I was going to be licked to death.

That said, I don't give a shit what breed attacks my dog. There's gonna be big problems.

Certainly dogs can be born with an aggressive temperament, weak nerves and other flaws. Done properly how do you think specific instincts and traits are bred into specific breeds.

LOL, We call our beagle "Satan's Little Helper". Used to attack our german shepherd, our beagle mix, and other small dogs. She got ahold of some baby rabbits under our shed and finished them off. But she is really good with people.

Dogs have different personalities and emotions based on current research. Yes, I do believe some dogs based on breeding for aggressiveness and their individual personalities some dogs are inherently dangerous, just like some people can be.

While in WV over Thanksgiving I found a pit sitting at the door of Save A Lot, he was making the automatic door stay open. It was supposed to be -2 that night so we bribed him into the car with some old fries. When we got him back to the house my dog growled and barked at him, he rolled on his back and started whining. That pit would not have hurt a thing. Some dogs are aggressive and some are not, I do not believe aggression is breed specific. I have never been bitten by a dog above ten pounds but I have bitten several times by tiny dogs that "don't bite"
