Man Who Left Loaded Gun in Target’s Toy Aisle Identified

Quote:You may remember back on May 30th that a loaded gun, a Hi-Point 9MM, was found in a Myrtle Beach, SC Target stores toy aisle.

The person who initially discovered the handgun was one of Target’s loss prevention officers. He stated that the weapon was just laying inside a Marvel Superhero Playskool toy box, and was in plain view. He initially thought it was a toy until he inspected it further, and realized that it was indeed real, and “fully loaded.”

Quote:Myrtle Beach Police have positively identified their suspect as David Dennis. Dennis is now being sought for unlawfully carrying of a handgun in connection with this incident, as he’s already a convicted felon.

False! Impossible. There's a law on the books prohibiting him from firearms possession... no way he could have had a gun, because criminals obey the laws.

Damn right, that's why Chicago doesn't have any gun crime.

Of course they found it in the toy isle, It's a hi-point, not a real gun.

I kid.....Ducking and running for cover.

I don't give a fuck about him, never did, I'm just curious about the back story, who he knew, was he really doing this for someone. Its just too perfect. The timing, along with the fact that there is only one person involved, easy conspiracy.

If this was just a "handoff", why such a poor place to pass it along? How about a spot in the woods? Trouble is, even if there is a real story behind it, I'm sure we'll never know. Could just be the dumb fuck really is as stupid as he looks.

It was actually just a statement of frustration. Go ahead. Look at his picture, only take him out of his pajamas. He looks bright and alert. Almost like an operative of sorts. Hardly some cracked-out, homeless, ghetto rat, 4th grade dropout with dazed and half dead expression in his lifeless eyes.

No, this fucker looks like he's up to something. Good luck ever finding out what it is. He'd be killed before he ever came close to saying a word. Besides, his crime right now is so minor he'll walk. This is nothing. It'll all be over and written off in no time.

I thought a crime with a gun is a mandatory 5 years. Leaving a loaded gun were kids can get it is a crime isnt it?

Could you cite the Federal or SC statutes that support these statements?
