Manchin sells out WV gun owners

Lets hear it for Pro 2A Dummycrats:

Quote:Folks, we just got this minutes ago !

Ladies and gentlemen of the WVCDL and West Virginia. Today, around 3PM I met with Senator Manchin. In any conversation with a person of that level of power, there are two conversations that occur at once. The first is the obvious and direct meaning of what is spoken. The second conversation is the meaning between the lines. In this case, neither is good. West Virginia, in my opinion, you have been sold out.

First, let's talk about the direct conversation. It's very simple. Senator Manchin supports a three-pronged approach that includes universal background checks, including private sales. He supports mental health-care reform. And he supports magazine capacity limits, and possibly other restrictions.

Further, he stated to me directly, that he believes 75% of West Virginians, like him, believe that the only purposes behind gun ownership and the second amendment are hunting and recreational shooting. He told me that defense is not an angle he considers or believes in, and that is specifically in the context of defense of self, and defense from tyranny. Perhaps now you understand why I've been too angry to update you on the results of the meeting. In case you're thinking of stopping here, it gets worse.

Senator Manchin told me what the media will do if Congress (including the US House of Representatives) fails to pass an AWB and/or mag restrictions. "They will one, by one, put up pictures of dead children. They will show the carnage." Considering that tomorrow, President Obama will be exploiting children by dragging them on stage with him while he outlays his plan, this is not a huge leap. And these are the words of a United States senator. We, and I don't mean just West Virginians, I mean Americans, must prepare for this. That is a direct quote. Verbatim. We need every talking head in the conservative media out in front of this. Make it happen. Share this post far and wide.

When it became clear that we were not going to find common ground, and that Senator Manchin intends to support magazine capacity limits and other pointless gun-control laws doomed to failure, I told the senator that we would be there. We would be at every single event. We would be at every fund-raiser. We would be there, and the content of our signs would not be pleasant.

And now we get to the second conversation. The one between the lines. When I said we would be there, he said, "there won't be any events."

This confused me. No politician runs for office without fund-raisers and events. And I have to admit, it wasn't I that grasped the meaning of this. I want to be clear, that the following was not stated. This was deduced by a confidant of mine, and I think she is correct. Manchin was honest. There will be no events. Why would a US Senator not need funds? This is because there will be no campaign. Joe Manchin is too young to retire from a position of such power. What does that mean?

West Virginia, this means that Joe Manchin has sold you out. It means that he has accepted some position, likely promised by Barack Obama, to place his boot in your neck in exchange for power. --- Keith Morgan, President WVCDL

I'm sure that every pro-gun democrat out there will be threatened that they will toe party line or they will get no support from the national democrat party during the next election.

Or maybe there's an expectation of a 1994 repeat. No need for fundraisers if you resign yourself to the fact that your supporting a major rights violation will cost you your job.

Nope. These people are now drunk with power, OhBlowMe leading the charge. what with controlling the media, he can define the environment the conversation will be had in as well as give himself almost complete immunity from inquiry. All he needs are the future SCOTUS appointments he's sure to get and it is fait accompli. There are no rights violations where those rights dont exist. You're too wrapped up in the political landscape of 4 years ago. This will not end well....

So you're not expecting mid term elections in 2014?

So you're not expecting mid term elections in 2014?
Youre thinking that:
A: Republicans keep the House
B: Republicans gain the Senate

As it is, when (if) we default, OhBlowMe has set the stage for the Repubs to take the fall. Remember, the population rates the Congress at 78% responsible for the mess we are in and Oh at only 30%.

OhBlowMe will continue to to blame Congress for all our ills and the media will continue to report it as such until Congress' makeup is changed (read Dummycrat).

You are also assuming that the same rampant fraud that occurred in the 2012 Presidential election wont occur in the 2014 midterms. That is a very bad assumption to make.

We are not going to get recompense at the ballot or in the courts. This is by design. Remember, this gun grab was seen until fairly recently as tin foil stuff. Surprise! Guess what, its not!

This. The ballot will most likely be meaningless by 2014, if not sooner. And everybody can call that whatever they want. I'll be very happy to be wrong.

It's clear that BHO is not concerned about legality, nor does he intend to allow discourse by "representatives of the people."
I don't suffer from insanity.
I enjoy every minute of it.

Wow, what a surprise. Democrat/Proggies masquerading as conservatives and Jacksonians are showing us who they really are.

Wait for it - the usual so-called pro-2nd DNC members will be finding ways to equivocate for the people they just elected for extended terms.

Excuses will be as follows:
1) it's only "assault rifles"
2) nobody needs more than seven bullets in a (ahem) "clip"
3) nobody needs hollow point bullets
4) it's all the Republicans' fault
5) it's all the conservatives' fault
"Chris Kyle's death seems to confirm that "he who lives by the sword dies by the sword." Treating PTSD at a firing range doesn't make sense."

All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing. So sit back and enjoy the show or fight. The only way they can get away with any of this is if we let them.
