I can't listen to Levin anymore. After you listen to him for a month he just gets grating with his... Ronald Regan this. Ronald Regan that! Ronald Regan is! Ronald Regan did! He has this total OBSESSION with Ronald Regan to the point of fetishization. I wouldn't be surprised if he has a shrine in his closet to Regan that he does unnatural things with. I dont see how anyone can listen to him long term because of that. A lot of people get bothered by his voice, I just despise hearing how Regan was the second coming for the 10,000th time. You just want to grab him by the shoulders and shake him telling him to give the constant Regan shit a rest. He did a lot of good things but he was no Thomas Jefferson.

I work nights and drive all over middle TN, and at certain times he is the only thing I can get on the radio. In 2 months I think I've heard everything he knows about Reagan a gazillion times. Some days I can say it word for word with him. I like talk radio, but I'd like some balance. Mark Levin 5 nights a week gets a little old.

I can't stand his voice. Nor his fake yelling. He may talk about Reagan a lot, but at least he isn't self-absorbed like Michael Savage.

I'm a fan of talk radio too, but most hosts I can only handle for short periods of time. Savage I find the most entertaining of the political ones, along with Rush but political talk I can only handle for an hour or so tops. I much prefer listening to Dave Ramsey or Coast to Coast AM with George Noorey. But the latter is a late at night/early AM thing, and isn't nearly as entertaining during the day for some reason.

So I'm a book on tape kinda guy on the longer solitary drives.

I like Red Eye Radio from Dallas late at night/early morning. There's good natured bantering and often a diversity of guest hosts.

I need to start listening to my review material for the state exam. I wonder if it'll put me to sleep....

Never heard Red Eye. I used to do the drive from Southern NJ to Boston every weekend for almost a year before I moved up there, and literally wore out the tapes set for Stephen King's Night Shift & Graveyard Shift. Even though I heard the stories dozens of times and could almost recite them, they never made me tired...and that was a long overnight drive.

In all fairness, its been 20 years since I was making those overnight drives (holy crap) and my regular commute is mere minutes so I don't really hear late night radio anymore.
