The U.S. Constitution is old. But 400 years old?

That's what Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Texas, seemed to claim during a floor speech on Wednesday.

While speaking in opposition to a Republican-backed proposal, she launched into a brief history lesson. She said she wanted to thank her GOP colleagues "for giving us an opportunity to have a deliberative constitutional discussion that reinforces the sanctity of this nation and how well it is that we have lasted some 400 years operating under a Constitution that clearly defines what is constitutional and what is not." http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2014/03/...p=trending

Continued proof that you want the government setting, not only the standards, but the curriculum for our schools.

“The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money” - Alexis de Tocqueville

Admit nothing.  Deny everything. Demand proof.
If we lie to the government, it's a crime. If the government lies to the people, it's called politics.

As clueless as she is... This time she is right by mistake. Congress does not need the power to sue the president, they could defund his entire administration or just outright impeach his ass.

He most certainly should be impeached. He is an incompetent fool and not fit to have his job any longer.

We like to put people on a pedestal in government for their sort of celebrity status, but in most cases they're dumb as rocks and their aides act as handlers for them. The smartest people I know in general are all not very well spoken, all it takes to be a politician is money and charisma, not brains.

Looks like a fellow traveler of rep Frederica Wilson out of Florida though...the race pimp who also dresses like a pimp...

For those that don't remember she's the one who acted as judge and jury on the floor of congress over the Zimmerman case before all the facts were in (like literally the day after) as well as trying to repeal stand your ground laws even though it didn't apply in the Z case. She's also known for using federal funds to buy shoes for people in Hati...completely unrelated to the earthquake. Fuck the poor people in Ocala the Hatian-Americans vote in my district (Miami)!

What's more amazing is how many times these clowns get re-elected. Politics by it's very nature does not attract intelligent and ethical leaders. Still the story just goes to show how much respect they have for the oath they take in relation to the socialist cause!

Also asked NASA personnel if the mars rover would be doing a drive-by near the American flag set up by Neil Armstrong. doh.
