Mayor Nutter Responds to NRA
#31
I'm supporting it because any douche bag with a butcher knife can walk in and carve up our children en masse with almost no effort at all.

This has happened time and time again. It's time for this shit to fucking stop.

I don't understand all the outrage at the suggestion of a policeman or armed guard in schools? I went to John Paul Jones junior high school in Philly in the 70's and there was a Philly cop stationed at the school, didn't seem to be a problem back then? They act like its a new idea Shrug

.

They don't want to hear about any solution that keeps firearms in the hands of lawful and responsible citizens, they want the schools to remain open to these psycho's so if another tragedy happens they can say look at what a free society with firearms does to our children. They tap dance in the blood of victims since it helps bring about more government and less freedom which means more money/power for them. That's why I am using my wallet and mind to defeat them wherever possible, it's my duty as far as I am concerned.

Also what about posting members of SWAT teams at school? Maybe one to back up a normal armed security guard? It seems like members of SWAT are only needed when an emergency comes up so what are they doing on a normal day?

Not me. I believe that if we all open-carried with no trouble from the LEO community, there would be FAR less crime against John Q. Public. Too much risk for the bad guy. Bad things will ALWAYS happen. Minimizing the risk - because there's NO way to eliminate it - will make a difference. In my opinion, it's only a coward that strikes out against the weak, the defenseless, the elderly and young. Any anyone who has faced a coward knows that any resistance at all defeats his spirit.

Here's what THE democrat hero and greatest democrat Pres ever (gees I gagged a little after typing that) actually did!

Violence: President also earmarks money for child-counseling programs. GOP critics say youth problems should be addressed at home.

WASHINGTON — Marking the first anniversary of the shooting deaths at Columbine High School, President Clinton announced $120 million in new federal grants Saturday to place more police officers in schools and help even the youngest kids cope with their problems.

"In our national struggle against youth violence we must not fail our children; our future depends on it," the president said in his weekly radio address.

Mayor Head in His Heiny (H3) needs to see the truth: no morals, no ethics, no strong but loving parents, no acceptance of blame lead to violence.

There are many smart ways to make schools much more secure without tossing around forced labor camp imagery.
