Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley Wants …

The Governor of Maryland plans to introduce a comprehensive package of proposals designed to curb gun violence, according to a handful of anonymous aides who spoke to the Washington Post. Martin O'Malley, who was elected in 2007 and expects to be as prominent a Democratic presidential contender in 2016 as fellow gun-control hawk Gov. Andrew Cuomo, has written up legislation that, if enacted, would ban assault weapons and — perhaps most significantly — require all new gun owners to submit to a fingerprint database, in order to contain the illicit distribution of guns via so-called "straw purchases":

This is why I haven't sought out getting carry permits from other states that require fingerprints. I don't feel that I should be treated like a criminal.

Mine are already on file because of a job at an airport. I seem to be one of those people who aren't recognized by digital fingerprint scanners. That's why I won't waste my time with a gunsafe with a biometric lock on it.

I don't know, I didn't feel like a criminal when I got my prints for a Utah permit, because I'm not one, so I guess I don't know how it feels, it was a fair trade for me since I frequent the state of Delaware and they don't recognize our LTCF, now I can head into Delaware with no worries.

Plus, mine are already on file for job related stuff, airport construction access badge & HAZ-MAT on my CDL

They've already got mine from when I was in but I'll be damned if they'll get a second set for free.

In Colorado you have to give a right index finger print to get a drivers license.
A gun rack in a pick-up is not for holding guns. Its a place for women to hold on to. Smile

"They" have your prints from when you were born. Luckily scans such as seen on CSI are mostly still fiction.
