Miners Fight Back Against Obama TV Ad: "Absolute Lies"
#1
Coal miners tell Obama to stop the absolute lies in TV ad accusing miners of being props at rally for Romney.

Miners held a press conference to release a letter signed by over 500 miners saying they were not forced to attend Romney event.

They wanted to attend because their is a war on coal and Obama is leading it.

If Obama is re-elected he will put us all out of work permanently.

So I take it for the first time in decades, the UMWA is not endorsing the Democrat in a presidental race?

From what I understand, the UMWU is staying "neutral." I had heard that on the radio about a month ago. Not sure if it has changed since then.

The union prez still gushes with praise for Obama, but he blasts Lisa Jackson (EPA) as if they are separate decision makers...

[Image: oldman_01.gif] Say what? You have a president saying one of his objectives is to put Coal out of business and miner's (and their union) still haven't politically made a decision? Geeez, just doesn't make any sense...

When has a union president ever truly cared about the rank and file? The funneled cash is too great to go against the political party...

They're only neutral in this election because Obama is anti coal and has made that clear by closing plants.

If he wasn't, they'd be Pro Obama like they were in 2008.

They lobbied for the guy who is trying to put them out of work, and they're staying 'neutral' instead of going AGAINST the guy who has been, and has stated he will continue to put them out of work?

They deserve to suffer for their idiocy.

Sad thing is, the union guys will still pony up their dues, even though a blind man could see where the union loyalties lay.

Let's be fair, the Republicans are no friends to unions, that's why the coal miner union hasn't endorsed Romney either.

I don't blame them. Neither candidate is their friend, really.
