Looking for a forend that will hold a light, just keep finding regular ones. Anyone know of such an animal?

Here is an EoTech for around 250: http://www.opticsplanet.com/eotech-integ...nAod6hcAzw

There are also SureFire fore ends:
$309: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controll...&A=details

$289/$334: http://www.opticsplanet.com/surefire-mos...nQodu0wA9w

I also know you can get vertical fore ends that can hold lights if you are interested in those...

There are likely others out there, but this is what a quick google search came up with.

Are you just looking for a railed forend?

Any 500 forend will work.

I have a CAA one on my 590.
I never use a light on it and am going to be swapping it out for a Hogue one, but it works fine with a light of afg.
Some people need to read this book: http://www.amazon.com/dp/1936976021/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_bs5jwbZH1GAZF

It's a factory option, perhaps Mossberg will sell this part?

Check out the Mako tri-rail. My 590A1 came with one. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/734544/...ymer-black

Thanks for the link, and it doesn't cost 300 bucks like so many others.

I want a lot of light too. I need to find a way to mount another 600 lumen light like on my AR to my 590. I don't want a tri rail. I hate useless rails all over a gun. I went with the YHM smooth quad rail on my AR because it has a long rail on top and short sections at the muzzle end on the other three sides.

What light do you have that is 500 lumens? I had a big one that was 990 lumens Big Grin It was killer bright. But it had a sling too it was that big. It would shine a beam 300yards no problem. If you pointed it at the ground the beam on the floor was still to bright to look at... I loved it.

It's an Olight M20X. On high, I can illuminate at 100yds. Plus it strobes on high and I can say from experience, it'll blind your ass for a good ten minutes and you'll see spots long after.
