Idaho --(Ammoland.com)- Let me start by making a statement. YOU DO NOT WANT TO GET INTO A KNIFE FIGHT!

In a good knife fight, no one wins. Many times you won’t even know that you are cut, much less how bad.

The baddest guy that I know with a knife is the Pro-staff guy that helped design Browning’s Black Label Tactical knives named Jared Wisong. Watch a video of him training at http://tiny.cc/vzdhkx .

I’ve met him and talked to him a bit and he is a humble polite young man but if I have a .45 auto and he had a knife….I’d still tuck tail and run. He’s bad.

I want to get myself a Kershaw pink leek knife, assisted open.

Recently got my hubby an H&K Fugitive. I guess it wasn't a current model so I got it for a decent price on Amazon.

I really really want to get into knives, I just can't justify spending the money on a "good" knife. Sad

Define good? Does a 200.00 knife cut any better than a 50.00 knife?

I carry a balisong that I gave 60.00 for over 20 years ago. I also have a bunch of knives that I paid 10.00 or20.00 for. Are these any less good than my balisong?

Some may say a GOOD knife holds an edge better. That may be or they just need to justify why they spent so much on that GOOD knife.

I can say this much. If I lose a 10.00 knife i would not lose much sleep over it. I can not say the same if I lost a 200.00 knife.

I like knives... But I like high quality and custom knives a lot more. I wish I could afford to buy many many more of them. As it stands, I have a few CRKTs (I really like my Notorious for EDC), Benchmades, and such. I really like some of the offerings from Miller Brothers and Gage Customs. I like pretty much everything in the ExtremaRatio catalog... and that's the problem... To get all the stuff I want is going to run in to the tens of thousands of dollars.

Sigh...

The one I got my husband was like a $130 knife that I got for $55 on Amazon because it was older stock I guess, from a 2011 line of knives.

I just should have gotten him an assisted open one...but it's a really nice knife otherwise.

For my purposes, a Kershaw Cryo II is perfect.

I also have the original Cryo, but it's not really big enough IMO.
