M11/9 with stock detached (so technically a pistol) with a Lage 22 conversion kit, and AM180 drum adapter. That gives you...

wait for it....

275 rounds per magazine. Beat that. Anim_uzi

Not in pistol form, but this is the magazine I'm talking about:

Ez to beat. As mentioned already the razorback upper mounts on any lower and the largest belt they make for it is 550 rounds.

Hey, that's cheating!

An AR .22 pistol with a 50 rd drum? Works for me!
I need to confirm, but I think these will work in my Chiappa .22 upper.

I was at Wal-Mart today and I believe I was reading Guns and Ammo (Had the LAR-47 on the cover, which is an AR-15 that feeds 7.62x39 from AK magazines). I read that article and the article comparing the P-38 pistol and TT-33 pistol. Good articles but I digress. While thumbing through the magazine they had an ad for a Micro-UZI pistol from Umarex chambered in 22LR, the magazines hold 20 rounds. I really like it and someday I might get myself one as I like the concept of a 22 pistol that holds more than 10 rounds. You might like it too Empty, check it out: UZI Rimfire

The damned thing is so cool now I want one, thanks.... Dodgy

^^^ Friggin' awesome find!

We are seeing a massive surge of "copy" guns chambered in .22LR.
A direct result of sky-high ammo prices.

Yeah it's an awesome time to be a Rim Fire fan indeed. I'd buy more now if I wasn't in such a rush to buy centerfired, magazine fed weapons. This neat little pistol is in my future though. Tongue

If you're still looking you might want to keep your eyes on this interesting looking 22 Pistol that's about to be released:

A lot of the things they do with this pistol seems gimmicky and stupid but as a stand alone pistol I think it might have potential, best part it uses standard Ruger 10/22 magazines. So you can have 25 rounds of 22LR in a pistol using a regular stick magazine. I will be watching it myself as it has a projected MSRP of $200-$220 which is very reasonable. Here is the link to their website: http://www.zipfactory.com/
