Nazi Weapons Act of 1938

Interesting parallels to say the least. What has OMao and his Deminazi friends been reading?

Cut and paste this: constitutionalistnc.tripod.com/hitler-leftist/id14.html

And a short excerpt from the link.

Nazi Weapons Act of 1938 (Translated to English)
• Classified guns for "sporting purposes".
• All citizens who wished to purchase firearms had to register with the Nazi officials and have a background check.
• Presumed German citizens were hostile and thereby exempted Nazis from the gun control law.
• Gave Nazis unrestricted power to decide what kinds of firearms could, or could not be owned by private persons.
• The types of ammunition that were legal were subject to control by bureaucrats.
• Juveniles under 18 years could not buy firearms and ammunition

Sounds a little familiar.
The law? The law is a human institution...

I have some issues with that article.

The Hitler quote at the top is from 1942 and pertains to the occupation of Russia. Of course you are not going to allow citizens in conquered and and occupied territories to have weapons.

The 1938 law is more relevant since it was peacetime. But the excerpted bullet points do not make clear that the law was aimed at Jews. That would be akin to the US saying that crime in the inner cities is so bad that we need to restrict firearms in the black population. Or that immigration issues necessitate the restriction of guns to Latinos. Now, we actually do both of those things anyway but the racial aspect has been ignored.
Having draconian gun laws in D.C. or designating Philadelphia as a "city of the first class" are thinly disguised ways to deny African Americans the right to bear arms. But Al Sharpton is silent.

However, this quote from the link is right on.

You're missing the whole point. The only point I'm making is what the OMAO-Biden-Feinstein-etc plan is modeled after.

It isn't NEW.

Should our Government's proposed firearms restrictions resemble restrictions placed on citizens in countries occupied by Nazi Germany? I think not.
