New Pope: No Communion for Pro-Abortion Politicians
#1
http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Peace/2013/...n-abortion

New Pope Francis I is a conservative in the mold of his predecessor, Pope Benedict XVI and Pope John Paul II. That’s especially true on the issue of abortion, which he called a “death sentence” for the unborn in 2007. “We aren’t in agreement with the death penalty,” he said during that speech, “but in Argentina we have the death penalty. A child conceived by the rape of a mentally ill or retarded woman can be condemned to death.”

In the Aparecida Document, a document that represents a joint statement by Latin American church leaders but presented by Francis in 2007, the leaders stated, “we should commit ourselves to ‘eucharistic coherence,’ that is, we should be conscious that people cannot receive holy communion and at the same time act or speak against the commandments, in particular when abortions, euthanasia, and other serious crimes against life and family are facilitated. This responsibility applies particularly to legislators, governors, and health professionals.”

Francis is also anti-euthanasia: “Today,” he wrote, “elderly people are discarded when, in reality, they are the seat of wisdom of the society. The right to life means allowing people to live and not killing, allowing them to grow, to eat, to be educated, to be healed, and to be permitted to die with dignity.”

As you can see you were able to change your text but the ability to completely delete a post has been disabled because of a few cry babies going back and shitting on threads by deleting all their posts in a taking my toys and going home move.

So, you can still crap on a thread but people will know you (and some missing text) were there when they try to make sense of the holes left behind.

If politicians want to be catholic but don't want to follow the tenants of the catholic church, then why would they be upset when the catholic church will deny them the traditions of the church they don't want to follow the tenants of?

Agreed, either you are or you are not a Roman Catholic. Americans want to have it both ways they want to be Catholic but they don't want to do what the Pope deems necessary to be Catholic. This Pope is standing up and saying, "Not in my church."

It's not just a Catholic thing.

1 Corinthians 11:27-29

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

27 Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.
28 But a man must examine himself, and in so doing he is to eat of the bread and drink of the cup.
29 For he who eats and drinks, eats and drinks judgment to himself if he does not judge the body rightly.

KJV

1Cr 11:27 ¶ Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink [this] cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
[1Cr 11:28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of [that] bread, and drink of [that] cup.
1Cr 11:29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.

The same forces that want your guns, want every society, organization, group, person toaccept their left wing whacko agenda, by force or coercion. That's the connection.

Listen to the LSM last night and you will hear the same shrill, secular progressive happy horseshit that they spew about guns. its their sicko way or the highway and everyone is supposed to capitulate to them.

if ya don't like the post don't click on it. I never click on MSNBC. Simple. Unless of course , were gonna start censoring ala where we all came from.

So you guys are in favor of the Sharia Law model, then? Where the religious beliefs of the lawmakers get enacted into civil law, because the lawmakers are bound by their religion to vote according to their religious laws?

Which means, of course, that we also have to outlaw re-marriage of any divorced person whose former spouse is still living where the first marriage has not been annulled by the Vatican. Oh and the Catholic lawmaker must introduce a bill to prohibit the sale of condoms, as well as the filling of prescriptions for oral contraceptives.

Or should the lawmaker put his religious beliefs aside and act according to the wishes of the electorate they represent?

By the way, one of the tenets of the Catholic Church is the supremacy of conscience. Nobody talks much about that, because it doesn't help control people.

Render unto Caesar...

Or have you guys forgotten the amendment that comes right before the 2nd.

Wait. That's not what they were saying. They were just saying that politicians who are Catholic should not complain when they are not allowed to take communion because their beliefs go against their own chosen church. (I'm not Catholic btw). If a politician has beliefs contrary to their chosen religion, maybe its best they not be that religion. I dunno. But what they were saying had to do with things that were between that politician and his own chosen church, not politics or laws.
