Another reason for someone to violate your fourth amendment rights to "keep you safe". This time from up to 100 yards away.

Why not? The sheep of NYC have tolerated stop n frisk so well, they are looking to apply it in other cities. Guess no one will say "enough" until maybe after the third or fourth cattle car rolls through......

Again, I wish they'd stop taking their cues from Arnold Schwartzenegger movies.

Today's word is "interrogate".
Lets use it in a sentence.
"If someone is carrying something, that person can be then pulled aside and further interrogated."

Based on the video it looks like this is still just a theory and hasn't been proved or practically applied yet. I personally don't think it will work. Too many false alarms. How will they distinguish between a gun, and some other object such as a book, laptop, coffee mug, etc?

Also, even if it did work, it wouldn't accomplish anything because detection =/= security. It would be too late by the time they realized the person had a gun. The video mentioned Sandy Hook at the beginning, yet this would have done nothing to stop Lanza.

I say we test this new technology by focusing it on the reproductive organs of TSA clowns for extended periods before implementing it. We can start the infringement of rights with them.
