Next 1911, looking for input...(New Gun+Pics)

pistol
I know these threads can get lengthy with varied opinions based on personal experiences, so to make it a little easier, here are my criteria...

-full size
-full length guide rod
-internal extractor
-night sights
-black
-plethora of accessory options
-.45ACP or 10mm (tell me why)
-$1,000 price range max

Looking at possibly saving for another Kimber. I've got my eye on the Custom TLE 2.

What other options are out there that I'm overlooking?

Pre owned isn't too much of a deal breaker for me but I will absolutely NOT buy one that has a noob scratch. One plus with pre owned is that they may be over their break in period.

What do you know about the remington variants? I've never shot one of theirs. Most of my experience is with Kimbers so I'm kind of partial but open to suggestions too.

What do you think about the Springfield line? They have several models that seem to fit your criteria. I own a Kimber Pro Carry that I kind of regret spending so much money on, for several reasons that I won't go into here. Anyway, I like the Springfield's so I'm looking to get a few of them in the future. I'm no 1911 expert by any stretch, so I'll be reading along for advice as well.

I don't know much about springfields to be honest but they seem to have a loyal police following. The TRP 1911 seems to be what I'd be looking into, seems to fit the bill nicely.

Your not going to get a TRP for 1000 bucks. They are very nice shooters though.

Well price could be flexible, I just didn't want replies like "Les Baer" or "Ed Brown".
