Kansas: Governor Brownback Signs Pro-Gun Bill into Law
Today, Governor Sam Brownback ® signed House Bill 2052 into law. This new law takes effect on July 1, 2013.

Arizona: Two Pro-Gun Bills Pass in Legislature and Go to Governor
Today, the Arizona Senate approved two pro-gun bills. House Bill 2455 passed by a 18 to 12 vote and would prohibit government-sponsored destruction of seized or surrendered firearms. Introduced by state Representative Brenda Barton (R-6), HB 2455 passed in the House of Representatives by a 36 to 23 vote on March 7.

West Virginia: Significant Legislative Victories this Session for Second Amendment Supporters

Hawaii: Senate Rejects House Amendments; SB 69 Goes to Committee Conference
Last Thursday, House amendments to Senate Bill 69 were rejected by the state Senate. SB 69, introduced by state Senators Will Espero (D-19), Rosalyn Baker (D-6), Brickwood Galuteria (D-12) and Josh Green (D-3), was originally a gun “buyback” bill, but was changed in the state House into a mandatory background check bill on already acquired firearms.
