The National Rifle Association cast its opposition to Obama's plans as "the fight of the century" in a letter circulated at the 35th annual Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade Show and Conference, known in the trade as "the SHOT show," in Las Vegas.

Think I might have to become a lifetime member. I'm gonna make it a point to buy every "evil" and politically incorrect firearm that I can from here on out. Fuck the libs.

Isnt it nice to see them grow balls! Now if only several republican politician legistlstors said the same.. I might convert back to being a republican. Unfortunately, no one should hold their breath on that one. . Wonder why the gop is dying, why romney lost to a losser? Listen to the crickets coming from that side of the aisle. .

Hundreds of representatives should be yelling right now that itll never come to a vote even and senators should be saying they will filibuster anything. What am I hearing... chirp chirp...

Maybe people here will get it now? Naw.. line up the excuses already sheep..

They're spending the political capital that they earned by agreeing to things that you disagreed with, you do realize that don't you?

The silence is deafening isn't it? I mean, they lost ground in this election, and they all know why, and yet they sit there in fucking silence when they have the opportunity to gain back some of their supporters.

Instead they are afraid of what some bozo on prime time news is going to say about them. God I wish we lived in a time where our representatives had a spine.

If they did the NRA would end up being kicked out of most congressional offices in DC. The GOA burnt all their bridges years ago by not being willing to find compromise on little things. Maybe if they had worked with some politicians things would be different. GOA staffers are regularly asked to leave congressional offices once they've identified themselves as being from GOA.
