Thats not true, in the late 70's to early 80's you still could purchase long guns there. we had bought several Spanish Mausers there.

Maybe at the gun shows that are at that site but never, in my experience, at the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show.

Never been there, don't care.
A gun rack in a pick-up is not for holding guns. Its a place for women to hold on to. Smile

I've been going there for years. The manufacturers have big displays where you can look at all the latest goodies but not buy. Some vendors did sell firearms, mostly the large sporting goods stores. Atlantic Tactical had purchased 100 of the new S&W .308 AR pattern rifle for the show that was cancelled.

Firearms sales were never a big part of the whole show. I'm interested to see the changes they make and if the regional vendors get pushed out in favor of the manufacturers.

I've been to the NRA convention where it was also a wonderland of arms that I couldn't buy. I appreciate that ability to handle some firearms that I might otherwise not get my hands on. I'm sure there will still be show specials.

I have never been in the past don't see a need to start going now.

I used to go to the gun shows even set up. but when they started charging to park then to get into the show I quit going.
