I have a faint memory of that already being done somewhere.

Some quick research shows that NJ actually banned sunny side up eggs and then lifted it.

The Nanny state strikes again.

I really don't know what to say.

"We cannot continue to have our kids come down with diabetes at age 6," said Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

Its shit like this that really burns my ass!

He's a scientist and a medical doctor too, I assume!

What a crock of bullshit!

What really makes me mad is that they still allow pitchers of beer, but not Coke.

Oh, so beer is not harmful to the liver, nor harmful to driving...but Coke is life threatening and should be banned?

Riiiiiight. Dodgy

Such hypocrisy. (In other words, drop the stupid Coke ban. I can't even believe this law passed.)

They're attacking fat people who they don't like to look at, not idiot liberals who rely on alcohol to get themselves laid.

You don't get diabetes at 6 from being fat unless your kid is wider than taller. In which case saving him from drinking soda at a restaurant in 32 ounces isn't going to make a difference.
