A gunman shot and killed two New York City police officers as they sat inside their patrol car in Brooklyn Saturday, then fled to a nearby subway station where he turned the gun on himself.

The attack took place in Brooklyn at around 3 p.m., the New York Daily News reported.

“The perp came out of the houses, walked up behind the car and lit them up,” a high-ranking police official told the Daily News.

On the contrary, RG... He clearly hated police.

Now, I think I have firmly established my position on the current race related ass-hattery, as well as my absolute disdain for genuine abuses of police power and legitimately enraging acts of state sponsored police brutality and execution.

While I absolutely abhor actions against the police for the former, I have a hypothetical question about the latter.

If it came down to a point where a violent insurrection against unlawful/rogue police attacks on citizens was the only possible response, what percentage would need to be reduced before the remainder stop showing up for duty?

And boy, do I hope to never have to find out.

That was sarcasm.......

The percentage of rogue police is very low. The media makes it sound overwhelming. Why would you even make it sound like this may be necessary in the future? I must be misunderstanding your point here.

What's really sad is there are people out there cheering for this.

Right you are. Neither cop appears to be a white guy so it's just open season on anyone with a badge.

Ammunition, it's the new lead bullion. Buy it cheap and stack it deep.

Do you think either Reverends Sharpton or Jackson will offer to perform their eulogies?

Yes, I get it was sarcasm. And my reply was deliberately obvious and a smack against "hate crime" laws, as well.

While I agree the percentage is still low, the number is still too high. I'm talking the legitimately outrageous examples... like what happened to Jose Guerena, for example (where an entire Sheriffs Department unlawfully raided apartments and created exigency circumstances as an excuse to enter by shooting through the doors, and fired 72 shots into Jose, a recently honorably discharged Marine with multiple combat deployments who, upon hearing gun shots shepherded his wife and child into a closet then grabbed his condition 3 AR15. Bullets slammed through the door and house, then the door was immediately blasted open and a firestorm followed... and Jose was left to die on the floor over the course of an hour... denied medical treatment or the comfort of his wife or the ability to comfort his child as she was forcibly dragged OVER is bullet riddled body).

Mike Brown and Eric Garner and all their supporters know absolutely nothing about people like Jose Guerena, and care even less. They can all go choke on a box of dicks for their stance, as can anyone else who deliberately kills anyone as "revenge" for these race-baiter induced incidents. These disgusting know-nothings stand upon a platform of lies and bigotry.

The overwhelming per-encounter results with police interactions are positive and do not result in such issues. I am firmly with police on one issue, and disgusted and alarmed by the other.

I'm the first person to say that cops need to be on a shorter leash. Beyond that, this is absolutely disgusting, appalling and insane. Our society is so far beyond reason.
