Obama admin pushes banks to make home loans to people with weak credit...

Planning round 2.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/business/e...story.html

The Obama administration is engaged in a broad push to make more home loans available to people with weaker credit, an effort that officials say will help power the economic recovery but that skeptics say could open the door to the risky lending that caused the housing crash in the first place.

President Obama’s economic advisers and outside experts say the nation’s much-celebrated housing rebound is leaving too many people behind, including young people looking to buy their first homes and individuals with credit records weakened by the recession.

Damn but this sounds familiar. Sort of like one of the major causes of the bank failures a few years ago.Angel

I wonder if I could get financial assistance in leaving this developing shithole that WAS a nice neighborhood 15 years ago.

Could? Could?

If it hasn't been clear by now that the intent of this administration is to crash us into the dark side of the moon, this should do it.

Lets face it, the only reason we had any kind of an economy before was because of mass home ownership. We are the ultimate consumer. We never stop buying shit to stuff in our homes. And since the only thing the USA can do is consume, that's our economy.
If the only way we can pretend to have a vital economy is to prop up home ownership I think it's safe to say we are nearing the end.

I agree. All this does is continue the further redistribution of wealth.

It negates the value of high credit scores and responsible spending practices that help to build that high credit score.

Home Ownership is a byproduct of FREE capitalism and prosperity. It is NOT the other way around.

There is NO prosperity in Communist central planning....There is equality of outcome....poverty.....except for the elitist friends of whomever is in the DICTATOR'S chair.

And in order to have that, there can be no guns in the hands of the populace.
