Isnt this the same thing as ignorance of the law is not an excuse?

The most powerful man in the world sure seems to get a lot of information about what's going on inside his administration from outside news reports.

The latest example was President Obama saying in an interview aired over the weekend that he learned of his former secretary of state's personal email use from the media.

Asked when he first found out Hillary Clinton was using a non-official system to conduct government business, Obama told CBS News: "The same time as everybody else, through news reports."

I coan't believe he's still using that "I learned about it when the news broke" line. Does he really think people are still buying that?

Yes, there are people that believe that and will continue to defend him at every turn.

It must be easier to use personal email than to buy a firearm. Wink

Every time one of these sleaze bags, like Obama or Clinton, pull one of these stunts they pull the old "it was just an honest mistake" routine. Yes, it's what the average, uneducated dolt might do, and so they are willing to forgive and forget, as these people undoubtedly have already polled their response. My point is that if the Obama's and Clinton's are so inept, forgetful, or uninformed of security protocols they have no business running our government.

O is clearly a narcissist and completely oblivious to whats going on and the Clintons have been skirting legal and ethical issues forever. I think they have made it perfectly clear they should not be allowed in power.

If he heard about some of these things on the news, he must watch FOX. Because they are the only ones talking about this stuff.

Perhaps if our dear leader didn't skip his intelligence briefs CONSTANTLY and every other brief or meeting that didn't involve a visit from Al Sharpton... our dictator in chief might have a clue what the fuck is going on in this country. It's hard to squeeze all that presidential stuff in though when you can't stay off the links for a day.

He knows whats happening, but he's got cover. Liberals are like battered wives, they might bitch and moan here and there and make empty threats to leave, but the truth is they can't run back to their man and spread their legs wide enough for him when they get there.

Ex-DOJ lawyer says form could hold answer to whether Clinton broke law with emails
Published March 12, 2015

What State Dept. guidelines did Hillary Clinton violate?

A former Justice Department lawyer says Hillary Clinton, despite her claims that she broke no rules or laws, may have committed a violation in leaving the State Department without turning over all official emails and records.

Shannen Coffin, a senior lawyer under the George W. Bush administration, pointed to a "separation" form that he said officials are supposed to sign upon leaving the department.

His argument: If she signed the form, she probably gave a false statement and broke the law; if she didn't, she ran afoul of department policy.

The form -- OF109 -- certifies that the person who signs it has turned over all "classified or administratively controlled" materials, as well as all "unclassified documents and papers" relating to official government business.
