Yeah it should be 100%... if any of them had any sense. Which obviously most of America doesn't.

I agree to a certain degree. I'm a "Conservative/Constitutionalist" I guess you would call it. The GOP has swung so far to the left to try and appease the Liberals that they have all but alienated true conservatives and I sure don't buy half of the crap the RINO's are selling us. I would love for a third more conservative party to replace the GOP but, as of right now, it's not going to happen.

The only real choice I have right now is to vote Republican, otherwise I might as well vote for a Liberal, because a third party doesn't have the base to win an election, and in most cases kills any chance of any type of conservative getting elected. All the while the Liberals laugh at our division.

Then you get the people that won't come out and vote, because they say "My vote doesn't matter" or "I don't like the candidates" and drive a further divide into the vote.

Until all conservatives can unite under one party, it will be divided we fall. A third party, sharing conservative ties, will continue to cost us elections. Right now that third party is not the GOP and until that changes, we are stuck in the mud.

Unfortunately though, this same mentality also causes people to say things like "Libertarians will never win". We have to take chances based on the liberty we want, not the liberty we fell we'll have left after voting for a RINO. The republican party is going down the shitter (as if it wasn't already before). Yeah I know voting republican seems like the only way out from under the democrat thumb, but in reality it's not republican vs. democrat, it's libertarian vs. authoritarian.

The 2-party system is what got us into this mess in the first place. The 3rd party is not just a 3rd party, it's supposed to bridge the gaps between the parties and let the people know that THEY are in control and to stop bending over and "taking one for the team".

We've voted for the lesser of 2 evils for far too long. They tell us we have to choose a side... well, neither side is doing anything for US anymore. We're in charge, we let this happen.

Don't say that, they have as much of a chance as the Green Party.

The GOP will not give in to a third party and vice versa. This is why we lose. Getting the conservative vote united is the only way we will win. I'm sorry, but Sarvis will win the election for McAuliffe.

Define conservative in terms of the Libertarian Party plank.

It is a party of fiscal conservatives and social liberalism, IMO.

There are over 150 libertarians holding public office today. While its at state and local levels they have plenty of chances to win. They don't win because people keep voting for the moron republicans that have zero chance of winning in the first place. VA governors race is a prime example. The dem might win but wont have but 45 or so percent of the vote. Meanwhile the libertarian will get about 10 to 15%...

Yep! Welcome to voting with the all or nothing mentality without thought or care of the likely outcome.

Yes those Republicans keep voting with the Democrats like oh say on obama care and say the government budget and raising the debt ceiling or for cloture on the gun control bill or for.... the list goes on and on. Yeah we should keep voting for the spinless assholes that just sold us up the river again and again and again. Three times in just a few months and yet people still drink that fucking Kool aid. The change wont come voting for Republicans, anyone with any brain cells knows this because republican after republican is shitting on the constitution time and again in the spirit of compromise.. in reality they think the Democrats are right and just want to do it slower... no thanks I dont like democrates just because they have an ® after their name.

Senator McAuliffe thanks you for your support.

You can put lipstick on ‘cool’ cynical internet diatribes all you want but that won’t change the reality that this thinking has resulted in the Dems controlling the Senate which allowed them to jam through O Care. It’s about time you All Or Nothing types start taking responsibility for your views.

I have to agree with you 100% on this (unbelievable, I knowAnim_doh). We all know that progressive/liberal agendas will fail in time. Voting for a third party might not put you on the winning team tomorrow, but it will farther down the road or pave that road for our children. American won't change until we hit rock bottom. There is no money for entitlements. Don't give the Dems any more people to blame. Give them full control and watch the world burn around them.

If you are convinced that the Republican Party is controlled by RINOs, then why would you vote Republican? Isn't that the same as voting Democrat? I refuse to support Republicans who pretend that they are fighting Democrats, in public, but support them behind closed doors. Take a look at the voting records on issues like the NDAA 2012 or immigration reform. With the NDAA 2012 almost EVERY politician voted in favor of it. The same NDAA that allowed for the indefinite detention of American citizens without due process. Really seems like those Republicans are fighting for America's interests. It also states that aiding terrorist groups makes you a terrorist as well. How has that stopped the CIA in Syria?

I, for one, would rather do what is right and fail, rather than doing what's wrong in order to be on the winning team.
