Open carry voting

Went to the polls with my full size XDm at 3 o'clock. The only comment I had was while existing. The Republican greeter ask if I was law enforcement because I was opening carrying. His son is a policeman. We then had a 10 minutes discussion on PA gun laws. He was happy with the information. I have to wonder if he gets dis-information from his son.

Voted OC no problems but I'm in bumbble fuck no where and people out here basically don't give two shits about a gun.

I did get some looks from the old ladies but they were all polite and very nice.

I will be here in a few hours. Dropped my pistol off at my brothers before work. Going to leave here, grab it, vote, and go home.

I've never had anyone really question it. Had one guy ask if it was a kimber. Had to tell him it's a springfield.

Just finished OC voting. As I came out of the voting booth, I had a Deputy Constable ask if I was a police officer. I simply replied no, and he then said that he did not have a problem it was justthat I was "wigging" some people out. I simply replied that my personal protection meant more to me than others feelings and it was not my problem if they were wigging out. He said ok and had a somewhat dumbfounded look and I walked away since my business was finished.

OC'd at Township Building where the polling place is. LEOs out here use that as HQ, but they're cool w/OC. No one said a word...just smiled and asked for my signature, showed me to the booth after I showed them my Voter Reg and Photo ID.

Cold as hell out there. But I wore my 2nd shirt, and my .45. Nothing but niceness at the polls tonight.

I don't know if the attachment is working or not.

Just got back from voting in Perkiomen Twp and was OC. No issues whatsoever. Just very very long lines.

New polling place for me this time (I moved when I got married in August). I was asked for ID because it was my first time voting at this precinct, but they didn't require a photo ID. My voter registration card was just fine. Not so much as a whimper or sideways look at my 1911.
