P320 RX Compact
Quick note: Red Dot Pistol skills development class being offered this Sept. PM me if interested.

Sig gives instructors a pretty good discount, so I jumped on it. They had it shipped out in a week. It makes pistol shooting no fun anymore, because it's that accurate. This thing is impressive.

After 150 rounds, the trigger breaks at 5.5lbs and is better than a stock Glock. It started at 7lbs, which had me a bit concerned. But that didn't bother the accuracy at all. Take up is short and breaks immediately after. It's very crisp with a very clean break. Reset it also short.   Now compared my G17 w/Ghost kit, which has a 4lb trigger, the Sig is a lot more predictable, crisp, shorter reset, less take-up which give the impression of being lighter.

I've worked on and shot Glock/Trijicon set ups: $1100-1300, and can say that I'm more than happy with a factory red dot gun for under $700 (discount).

Ive heard plenty of complaints about red dot pistols being "slower". I was sceptical at first, too. But it's all about establishing the proper grip and sight acquisition. If you can grip, draw and find the front sight, then you automatically find the dot. Unless you are deficient in your fundamentals or your gun is set up wrong, or both.  A little bit of practice goes a long way.

I highly recommend this little guy.  If you can get it for a decent price, that is. I've seen these things marked up to Glock/Trijicon prices. Which is bs. Hopefully when more get into the market, the prices will stabilize.
