Pa Presidential race MUST be close...
#1
Romney's people have been flooding the Philly area air waves with anti obama ads all day.

If they are spending money here this late in the campaign, they must actually think they have a shot. I saw more anti obama campaign ads in philly today than ive seen in the last month.

This tells me that internally, the Romney campaign believes it is very, very close here.

That is encouraging, but I'm still apprehensive!

Don't jinx it!

The last poll I saw put O ahead by about 4pts. So, yes, it's definitely in play. With the potential disruptions to voting by this upcoming storm, Romney needs to bet on the suburbs and western PA turning out in greater numbers than Philadelphia. He could steal the state if this thing gets bad enough, but that would depend 100% on him energizing the pro-Romney base NOW.

Problem is......no one listens to the radio. With the economy in the crapper all people do is watch "tv" Smile

Air waves includes TV.

There were about a half dozen anti Obama ads on the TV during the Eagles game yesterday.

The smart move is to put his ads on TV NOW. Everyone in the eastern part of the state is watching the news now, and will be for the next 24 hours. This will either be an opportunity taken, or lost for Romney.

Pro-Romney Group Makes Big Ad Buy in Pennsylvania

12:02 p.m. | Updated The “super-PAC” aiding Mitt Romney, Restore Our Future, is making a push into Pennsylvania, a state that has been considered strong for President Obama.

On Monday the group put down about $2 million for a slate of television commercials through next Monday, the day before the presidential election.

The move prompted the Obama campaign to shift advertising resources there for the first time since July. It announced on Monday that it too would being airing commercials in the state.

No wonder parts of Philly have been evacuated.....or was that because of An-Unforeseen-SuperStorm-That-No-One-On-This-Planet-Could-Have-Imagined-OMG-Save-The-Children-Vote-For-Obama.....

Maybe we'll get lucky and the infrastructure here will get wiped out by the storm, severely limiting the Philly vote. Smile

Philly 17 is playing an anti-Obama ad as i type. What a coincidence. It's a pretty good commercial. Obviously reaching out to women.
