Philly 17 is playing an anti-Obama ad as i type. What a coincidence. It's a pretty good commercial. Obviously reaching out to women.

I haven't noticed many ads here on the opposite side of the state, but then again I don't watch TV channels that have commercials all that often. I usually change channels when they play prObama ads because I can't stand hearing the same bullshit over and over, I'd rather watch a damn Snuggie commercial on repeat than any prObama ad.

Look at the bigger picture - Romney has a bigger war chest than Obammy. Even if Romney looses PA, he forced Obammy to spend his depleting funds in PA - taking that money away from ads in other states.

If it is the super-pacs that are spending the $$, the above goes out the window, unless Obammy is spending from his campaign bucket.

I just got a mailer from the Obama campaign. I threw it out, but as I recall it came from a non-profit and not paid for directly by Obama.

I can't remember the last time a presidential candidate sent out paper mailings... this close to an election especially right after a natural disaster. He must be getting desperate... and I won't complain.

I saw my first Obama ad tonight on the History channel.(Crapcast)

As far as I can remember, other than a few PAC ads this is the first "I'm XXX and I approve this message" ad I've seen on tv from anyone.

Hmm... why would the guy that has the state all wrapped up be running ads in the waning days?

The ad I saw was an Obama ad, not a PAC, Obama is spending his money.

Just heard my first Romney ad on FM radio about 15 minutes ago.

First political ad I *ever* remember hearing on FM radio, now that I think of it.

Here I listen to FM news talk 104.7.

It's conservative talk all day with a few crazy kooks thrown in after dark.

I can't understand why the conservative's run their ads all day multiple times over on that station. Seems like they are just wasting money preaching to the choir.

Anyway, I also listen to 99.1 out of Johnstown, the ads have been playing on it for months.
A Democrat stronghold, the most often heard ad is for Sam Smith®, the once union coal miner running against Casey.
I guess they are hoping to pick up a few union voters.

IIRC, looking at an election results map, you see the Allegheny, Philly and Johnstown areas to be solid Dem.
I'm thinking that their strategy must be that if they can swing some of those union guys in Cambria county, this might swing the state as Philly and Pittsburgh are a lost cause.

Last night the Philly airwaves were flooded with Romney and Obama ads.

The Romney ads were good.

The Obama ad showed Romney saying over and over, "I will repeal Roe V Wade." and "Planned Parenthood, it's gone."

Those commercials are going to score big with women. Romney is an idiot for saying such things on camera (repeatedly), even if he means them....lol
