Maybe...maybe not. Keep in mind, abortion divides not just the country in half, but women voters as well. Just because a person is a woman doesn't mean she instantly supports abortion.

The comments Romney made appeal to the women who are against abortion, and Obama repeating them to his favor appeal to the women who want to protect abortion.

And really, abortion is NOT driving this election, it is definitely the economy and unemployment...which Obama simply cannot defend, and cannot run adds touting any success in.

Anyone who votes based on abortion alone had their vote decided before either said anything about it, and if abortion is the driver for the vote they will always vote democrat anyway, because it's become the same as 'being black' votes democrat.

I have read that the GOP has a lot of funds available for the final push and would send out a final marketing blitz.

God bless!!

Not really a surprise, though.

No...i mean the Obama ads are just plain better and more effective.

Not that Romney's ads or bad, but the Obama ad where Romney says 3x in 5 seconds he wants to overturn Roe....that's a stake in the heart right there among women voters.

No it doesn't. Every single woman i know....every one....is pro choice.

I can't remember the last woman i met that was anti abortion, even if they personally wouldn't get one.

This is Philadelphia, not the sticks. Women here absolutely overwhelmingly support abortion. So do men.

Abortion is a huge issue for women.

And we have idiots on this very site that are putting 2nd amendment rights above anything else too, you know?

And I can say that the majority of women I knew up in Boston did not support abortion, and Boston makes Philadelphia look like the sticks Shrug

Anecdotal evidence is anecdotal.

Besides, Phillly was a lock for Obama from the start and you and I both know that abortion has NOTHING to do with that.

Philadelphia is bigger than Boston. Philly is the 5th most populous metro area in America. Boston is 22nd....???

BTW: I was born in Boston.

Certainly none that I know. And it's ONLY about FREE (to them) abortions.....and I really don't know ANY that think they should be paying for others murders or rubbers..

You guys seem to be trying to add layers to my statement....

As a whole, Women in America broadly and overwhelmingly support abortion, as any credible poll taken in the last 20 years clearly shows. I don't even know an anti-abortion woman.

Evidently, depends on the circles that you run in.

But again, it's not about abortion......it's about WHO PAYS FOR IT.....and the general public shouldn't.......nor should they pay for others BIG SCREEN TV's

How about one done in the past 5 years?[Image: hcruux-5lk6-zbv0hmk-wg.gif]

And I'm not trying to turn this into an abortion debate at all, not after that. Only point I'm making is that I truly don't believe Philly would all of a sudden vote for Obama because he's running Romneys comments on abortion--you and I both know that isn't why Philly will vote Obama.
