PA2A.org Voting Guide

First, are there any good websites that show up to date info on all the 2012 candidates?

Second, I've seen a lot of threads about Romney vs. Obama vs. 3rd Party but no real feel on what direction the PA2A membership will be voting on the 6th! Lets try a simple thread here about how you are going to vote without and animosity or web rage! Lets get a list of the most popular candidates and then we can have a mock election here on the site!

A Reading from the Book of Armaments, Chapter 4, Verses 16 to 20:

Then did he raise on high the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch, saying, "Bless this, O Lord, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy." And the people did rejoice and did feast upon the lambs and toads and tree-sloths and fruit-bats and orangutans and breakfast cereals ... Now did the Lord say, "First thou pullest the Holy Pin. Then thou must count to three. Three shall be the number of the counting and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither shalt thou count two, excepting that thou then proceedeth to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the number of the counting, be reached, then lobbest thou the Holy Hand Grenade in the direction of thine foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."

I am going to vote for Romney, because a 3rd party stands no chance and I believe that Obama will see his election as a "mandate for gun control" or some such nonsense and take it upon himself to institute as much as he can get away with, and with massive support in the Senate and the complete support of the Press I believe he will institute an AWB without a sunset clause, which will include far more items than Clinton.

And since I believe Romney will not want to risk losing a 2nd term, he will do nothing quite so politically risky as the person in office who knows they do not have to spend their first term campaigning for their 2nd.

I am pretty much with Camper on this one.

As he mentioned, the third party has absolutely no chance and people who vote for a third party might as well vote for Obama. Every vote on a third party is IMO a waste of a vote.

I know that Romney is not a good choice either but it is at least a step up to a better candidate in 2016.

Need to unburden my conscience from my 2008 vote...It's going to be Romney, but for the record, I'm a Paul guy all the way.

I'm voting for Romney.

While he isn't my preferred candidate... or even all that close, really, he is the only chance I see at not having another 4 years of O - which terrifies me more that Romney being president.

I have decided, however, to become a lot more politically active over the next four years. I hope if enough of us do so, we won't have to choose the lesser evil next time around...

I am sick of listening to just about every democrat, mostly since they are the ones that are allowed to spew their crap unchallenged by the media.

For the first time I am just hitting the Big R button, pressing vote, opening the curtain and saying EEEEEEEEEEEEYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSS, I have been waiting since 2008 to do that! Then just walking out, smiling.

I like:

I was really planning on voting for Paul but since everyone else wont do it, there is no sense in me doing it either. It will just split Romney's votes and give Obama the edge. I still feel that if everyone stuck to their guns and voted Paul, he would have a chance. But since the split vote notion is widespread, I am not going to waste my vote either...I don't like it, but it has to be Romney for me also. I'll probably vote R for senate and congress.
