PA2A.org Voting Guide

This will be the first year I vote all Republican.
I'm not marking the straight ticket oval, but I'm marking every single oval to force the old bitties at the polling place to count every single one.

Everyone should already know about the Kane/Freed race for Atty Gen.
Kane (D) is on record spouting her "loophole" language for gunshows (private sales) and that she will put a stop to it.
She is getting huge dollars from the Penn State alum that think the Sandusky thing was not handled correctly by Corbett.

Also keep in mind if you enjoy fairly cheap electricity and/or know anyone in the coal industry, that you must vote for Tom Smith over the absentee Obama puppet Casey.
Smith was a coal miner then became a coal mine owner.
Casey is vehemently anti coal.

I hope that even the protest voters can see that the AG race is important enough to show up for and will have a greater impact on your firearms here in PA than the Presidential race probably will.

I still feel that if everyone stuck to their guns and voted Paul, he would have a chance. But since the split vote notion is widespread, I am not going to waste my vote either...I don't like it, but it has to be Romney for me also. I'll probably vote R for senate and congress.

I want to vote Paul as well but the issue is that a majority of the States have refused to put him on the ballot so my vote will go to Gary Johnson since (I believe) he is on all of the ballots.

As for other politicians: I am going Freed for Atty Gen because after watching Kane's campaign ad, it is obvious she is a huge anti-gunner.

I think on election day my vote will be based on 2 things mostly: Gun rights and the economy.

As he mentioned, the third party has absolutely no chance and people who vote for a third party might as well vote for Obama. Every vote on a third party is IMO a waste of a vote.

I know that Romney is not a good choice either but it is at least a step up to a better candidate in 2016.

You say a vote for a third party is a vote for Obama. You don't think people who voted for Obama last time will vote for a third party? Ron Paul was beating both Obama and Romney among independents. A lot of them had vote Obama previously. A vote for a third party is a vote for a third party. It's not a vote for anyone else.

Likely voting straight Republican.

We can't let Kane end up as the AG. She's on the warpath over Florida permits, gun shows and has said she would represent municipalities in preemption lawsuits. She certainly won't work to expand reciprocity.

I need to look a little more into auditor general and treasurer.
He was the sort of person who stood on mountaintops during thunderstorms in wet copper armour shouting "All the Gods are bastards."

that's mathematically incorrect.

the assumption I think you're using is that absent Ron Paul, people would vote for Romney. That's not the case. Either people will vote for Gary Johnson, write-in a vote or abstain from voting entirely.

for example, Romney never had my vote, therefore you couldn't ever count on me voting for him under any circumstances.
