Paul Is Considering 2016 Presidential Bid
#1
Will he have a chance?

Quote:Republican Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky says he is considering a presidential campaign in 2016 but will not make a decision before next year.

/snip

Paul plans to travel to early voting states of Iowa and New Hampshire this spring and South Carolina this summer as part of the process.

I predict that if he runs he will get almost as much traction as his father has gotten. The party mainstream is not ready.

I will watch and see how he does between now and 2016. I may vote for him depending on what he does between now and then.

I think he stands a chance, but a slim one.

He has stood up for liberty, but the only thing he has done that got any heavy attention was the fillabuster.

Do I think he would be a good president? He could if he stood with the people. Do I think he will get the nomination of a party? I really couldn't say.

If he wants it, he needs to work hard now.
This will be the best security for maintaining our liberties. A nation of well-informed men who have been taught to know and prize the rights which God has given them cannot be enslaved. It is in the religion of ignorance that tyranny begins. -Ben Franklin

How could a freshman term senator, with no experience, no voting record, and zero foreign experience ever consider running for potus, much less stand a chance to win?Saywut

I'd consider changing my registration (currently "no affiliation") to vote for him in the primary and see how he does.
