Pennsylvanians against Leslie Dutchcot -- Steal guns once, shame on you...

Leslie Dutchcot is well-known around these parts as the judge who original disarmed Hobson McKown without evidence or specific, articulable belief that he was a flight risk or a danger to any person or the community. We do not want her to get a second term. Does she really deserve $500,000 over 6 years for what she has done her past 6 years for which she has already received over $350,000?

Leslie has crossfiled on both the Democratic and Republican tickets. Another candidate has also cross-filed, Ronald Quinn, Jr., who is not of notoriety.

However, it's time for the law-abider's revenge. Expecting a successful exoneration from the Superior court in the upcoming month, Hobson McKown himself is announcing a 'swift and aggressive' write-in campaign for May 21!

Hobson urgently needs recycled signs (so he can make his own prior to Monday/Tuesday), press, and persons to hand out write-in information handouts on election day. (However, as a judicial candidate without a committee, he cannot accept or solicit donations, or 'publicly stated support'.) Talk to your friends and family, and those you see on the street, and tell them about this important write-in option -- someone whom might follow the law! If you know youth who are registered, make sure to rally them to the polls. Tell the cynical not-gonna-vote-this-year folks too! It doesn't take too many hundreds of people to win this primary for either R or D or both! (Voters needed must be from College Township Voting Districts North and West, Ferguson Township, Halfmoon Township, and Patton Township to vote for this office, Magisterial District Judge 49-2-01.)

Here is the advance text of the press release, which you may see reported online as early as tonight and by print and/or other outlets by tomorrow:

Hobson announces district judge write-in campaign
- Hobson McKown seeks ouster of incumbent district judge

Having gone toe-to-toe with Leslie Dutchcot, Hobson McKown seeks the Magisterial District Judge 49-2-01 office by swift and aggressive write-in campaigning.

“Public office holders rarely deserve a second chance in their own position, if any office at all, and should return to private life or find another way to help do right by our law,” Hobson stated. “It is not good for society to prop up career judges with 85k/year salaries for a guaranteed term of 6 years ($510,000). 30 years over six terms makes 3 million dollars. By going above and beyond, that must be earned.”

Hobson, a constitutional and criminal law frontiersman, said he has since a young age been a student of law with a concentration on unlearned and unearned authority, noting that he has been fighting for the constitutional rights of Pennsylvanians long before seeking this office.

“I have the genuine courtroom experience that provides empathy to all whom will come before me upon the bench. I have been the victim sitting across from criminals. I have been the innocent defendant. I have been up and down the criminal courts so that I understand the plight of each party. I have never been the driven district attorney, the detached defense lawyer, the passionate police officer, or the gregarious judge. But I do not have those bad habits to unlearn, leaving me only neutral, detached, fair and impartial.”

Employed over the past seven years by nationally recognized Pennsylvanian employers AccuWeather, Blair, and McKissock, Hobson now acts a private real estate acquisition specialist and devotes time to legal study. McKown is a 2006 Computer Programming ASB graduate of Bradford School of Pittsburgh, Pa.

Hobson completed the Magisterial District Judge certification training course in Harrisburg on December 2009. McKown took Constitutional Law courses as early as 2003 at Warren Area High School. He has subscribed to WestLaw for Pennsylvania and Federal legal resources for over 4 years.

“Jon Grine once asked if I was a lawyer, or if I was in law school, and that I should be if I was not. T.K. Kistler has applauded my study of and adherence to the principles contained in the Constitution,” Hobson said. “A local attorney assessed my legal acumen as ‘3rd year of law school’ yet I have not had formal secondary training. My legal reasoning and writing has found its way into defense briefs to both our local and appellate courts. My friends remind me to ‘stop getting all legal’,” quipped McKown.

Born and raised in Warren, Pa., Hobson has since been a resident of Centre County for five of the last seven years.

“Many know or remember me as only Hobson, confusing the name as to whether it is my first name or last name. I believe that allows a voter to write in H-O-B-S-O-N, without having to remember my full birth name, on a Democratic or Republican ballot,” explained Hobson. “And when you’re in front of that ballot, just remember that I am a Law and Order judge – order applies to you as it does to me and my fellow politicians, and our highest state law is our Pennsylvania Constitution.”

A more detailed request for assistance to elect Hobson at the May 21 Primary so that Leslie cannot be elected can be found at http://www.pa2a.org/thread-seeking-assis...ot-s-place (Seeking assistance electing Hobson McKown in gunstealer Leslie Dutchcot's place). The content and audience differs from this post (the linked post targets locals who may be able to do the most to help but is not limited to locals) whereas this post is meant to show the candidacy announcement and rile up folks as a gun issue. After all, Leslie bans guns and burglaries occur thereafter. A win here is taking a gun-banner out of office and we can parade that around to encourage others in the future

2 out of 30,000+ members on PAFOA stood to offer help to Hobson's Campaign. Do we want a known gun-grabber making 3 million dollars (85k/yr) over a guaranteed 6 year term to confiscate guns and send gunowners, and those whom stand up for their rights, to jail? Heaven forbid any of you ever come before her -- will you say, "Did I deserve this, knowing I had the opportunity to change this outcome on May 17-21, 2013?"

Hobson McKown announced his run for district judge again Leslie Dutchcot, who ordered his guns confiscated and his person to jail with a $250,000 cash bail (she gave Jerry Sandusky $100,000 unsecured; he paid nothing while facing life imprisionment) on May 17, via an intensive, swift, and aggressive write-in campaign. He needs our help. http://hobsonforjudge.com writein@hobsonforjudge.com 814-826-3126

After posting on PAFOA and PA2A, only two people came forward. 2 of 30,000+ users. Right now it looks like a gun-grabber will get another 6 year term. To give you all and idea of what Hobson's campaign is facing, not only was there virtually no responses offering to work the polls, but also the Centre Daily Times did not put the candidacy announcement in print or online since they were given the information midday Friday, being informed several times and in different ways since. (Can you say MEDIA BLACKOUT? This is an epic showdown between an aggressor and her victim, the latter looking to turn the tables on her cozy life! How is this now NEWS, compared to, say, CDT reporting Hobson's arrests and convictions all while failing to report his exonerations?)

Are we serious about our rights? Serious about getting public officials into office who will respect them? Every gun charge has to FIRST go through a district judge where it will LIVE OR DIE! Bail for nearly EVERY OFFENSE will be set by that same district judge -- do you like your guns? do you want to keep them? Heaven forbid you should come before a second-term incumbent district judge, and have your guns taken away and/or be sent directly to jail, for no reason other than being known as someone who believes in, or was standing up for, our rights; in such a situation you might be right to say "I was given a clear opportunity to prevent this outcome May 17-21, 2003, and I did nothng. Did I deserve this?" Although this could happen before any of the 550+ district judges across our state, NOW is the time to flick the first DOMINO! How does that saying go... "HE helps those whom help themselves"?

http://hobsonforjudge.com/help.php notes Hobson's urgent needs, and you can reach him even during the primary tomorrow if you can at ANY TIME help:
ATTENTION:
Three urgent needs to get Hobson on a D/R ticket!
POLL WORKERS: WE need people educating incoming voters and handing out literature!
CALL-A-FRIEND: We NEED people calling those they know in Centre County to let them know about Hobson, and to pass the word to others! Send a firestorm through the phonelines and shutdown the switchboards! (skype, email, fax also!)
MEET THE PRESS: We need PEOPLE with press contacts to get his press release to the mainstream!

I guess it's 30,000 of us (registered users among PA2A and PAFOA) that complain about our gun rights 363 days a year and for the other two days of the year, we do nothing. Fortunately for us, Hobson's Exploratory Committee is said to be recommending a balloted 3rd party run -- that'll give us 5.25 months to get our shit together this time instead of 5.25 days.

The only shining beacon of light from the election is the 1141 write in votes for DA (although they could be write-ins for the incumbent, who filed D). Stacy Parks Miller has been the DA through much of Hobson's case, has done nothing to put it to an end, and has encouraged his prosecution. How could she run UNOPPOSED? How can anyone?

Maybe we're looking at the glass half empty... I mean, if ya'll aren't dead, jailed, or gunless by our government by 2019, you could vote or rebel, depending on the necessity... hohoho

Bit of a broad brush, wouldn't you say, since the vast majority of us didn't have any of these folks on our ballots. That's the thing about magisterial district courts, they're all about the district, not the state.

I would not ever say it is a bit of a broad brush because of the power of non-voters to incite voters to action, and the subsequent teaching of exemplary action to this state. A non-voter can call a registered voter, or call someone whom they know to reach out to registered voters of the district -- such a person can be anywhere in the world to reach out, and need not be a voter of the district! Although an MDJ may only create law of the case in his district, his conclusions can be informally persuasive to judges above, and he can set an example for any public official in this state to follow, as to how he could carry himself in reverence of the law.

Wouldn't you say that this now does not look so insular, that it is not only resident district voters who can swing the tide, and that not only those who find themselves in the district could benefit?

By the way, ExcelToExcel, paying any more than 0/yr to someone whom breaks the law in office would be a ridiculous amount.

I agree. What criminal cases have been brought against this judge?
