Personal Home & Defense Magazine article
#1
I was reading the new issue of Personal Home & Defense magazine and an article of retention tips & techniques, called Gun Grab Defense, written by Leroy Thompson, was one of the first articles I came across. According to the article "Job One" is to conceal the weapon. I laughed.

It seems to me that an article for retention tips & techniques would be of interest to most, if not all, open carriers. Why exclude some carriers simply for the way they choose to carry their gun? I was at work so I wasn't reading the article too thoroughly but I am pretty sure the article also never mentioned retention holsters.

Also, the images in this particular article showed the person with the gun open carrying. Has anyone else seen the article?

I like carrying the kabar tdi on my weak side. I carry it in case somebody ever goes for my handgun. In the event somebody is trying to go for my gun, I will do whatever it takes to keep my firearm holstered, grab my tdi, and go for their throat and face. Sounds gruesome, but it is a pretty effective technique.
