Now pay the piper, you sheep.

Well. It's been a two-party system since the first election. Sure, the party names have changed but it's always been a two party system. Shrug Why would this year suddenly be different and what is it about the two-party system that is inherently flawed? You disagree with the Founders who participated in this two party system? What do you propose, a 15 party system like Europe?

I propose three parties. In fact, that is the system I've been using for ten + years, so it's really nothing new.

One day you Whigs will look back and see the brilliance if it.

Man, I would LOVE to see daily fist fights in Congress. Hell, I'd re-subscribe to cable just to watch it on C-SPAN.
I don't suffer from insanity.
I enjoy every minute of it.

But we actually had some Whig presidents.

The problem here is dems and republicans have mountains of backing. Commercials, radio spots, tv interviews. A third

This will be the best security for maintaining our liberties. A nation of well-informed men who have been taught to know and prize the rights which God has given them cannot be enslaved. It is in the religion of ignorance that tyranny begins. -Ben Franklin

Texas politicians (including Gov. Perry) suggested secession in 2009.
Georgia State Senate passed a resolution 43-1 in 2009 that affirmed the right of states to nullify federal laws. The resolution also included the assertion that if Congress took certain steps, including restricting firearms or ammunition, the United States government would cease to exist.
Californians (not a red state BTW) talked about secession in 2010.
Hawaii (not a red state BTW) has a faction that wants to secede that won support in 2011.
Throughout this decade Vermont (not a red state BTW) has had a vigorous secessionist movement.
In 2006, the Alaska Supreme Court blocked a state ballot initiative that would have put independence to a vote.
<From the wiki on secession>

It is not the re-election of Obama that is precipitating this. Division in this country has been worsening since Clinton got away with perjury in the 90's based on political party votes and not facts. Now, politicians think they can get away with anything if they stick together, including risking lives and national security.

Do you need a weather man to see which way the wind blows?

to put it bluntly, had Romney won, you wouldn't hear a peep from these states about wanting to withdrawal from the union.

that, to me, is more disturbing than anything.
