Pettion for Target to contiue to allow carry in its stores
#1
Our friends from AMGOA has created a petition to submit to Target.

https://www.change.org/petitions/target-...nnon-watts

Keep obeying local laws and not Shannon Watts

Petition by

American Gun Owners alliance

While some would have Target believe they are under 'assault' by gun owners nothing is further from the truth.

Shannon Watts wants Target to stop allowing law abiding citizens the right given to them by the U.S. Constitution to defend themselves should the need arise by using lies and fear. She claims other companies have agreed to her terms only to have those companies make public statements that in fact they have not changed their policies.

What Ms. Watts doesn't get, and never will get, is that places that ban law abiding citizens from exercising their rights are perfect targets for criminals who both ignore laws and 'no guns' signs.

We, as law abiding citizens and customers of Target, stand behind you for your policy of obeying state and local gun laws and implore you keep doing so. Do not fall to the pressure of this woman and her lies!

What law are they supposed to be obeying?

Local/state law concerning firearm carry in their stores.

Shannon Watts started a Facebook page called Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America. It's her (their) goal to get guns banned everywhere. The petitioners don't want stores to cave to folks like Shannon Watts but rather just follow the law of the land where each store is.

In other words, she is a rusty cunt bucket trying to ruin law abiding gun owner's lives to further a political agenda.

This is no different than going out to business and trying to compel them to ban Blacks, or Gays, the handicapped, or Jews.

I may seem a bit hostile and abrasive when these types of situations pop up, but you know what? Apathy is the enemy. This soulless bitch is trying to destroy us. I sincerely hope she gets hit by lightning. Fuck her and all her komrades.

There's a law that says store must allow people to carry guns?. who knew?

I don't want stores to cave to antis, but the word "obey" infers that there are laws on the book saying that stores must allow people to carry and that we are not a free state where business owners have right to make their own decisions. And to be honest, telling me to obey a law that does not exist would piss me off as a store owner even it I agreed with the spirit of the point they are making. If I was in the middleon the issue I would roll my eyes at someone telling me something like that they would lose respect in my eyes. Of Course if I were in the middle I would also be rolling my eyes and losing respect for Shannon Watts and her group also

I'm not a fan of antis phrasing things in sensationalist and misleading ways, not a supporter of our side doing it either.
Everytime we look the other way when someone else loses rights we disagree with, we make it easier to lose the rights we support.

We have broken no laws, and seek only our natural right to defend our lives and those of our own if unjustly attacked. This filth is seeking to deny your right to life by pressuring every single business... make no mistake, that is her goal... into capitulation that only benefits anti gun politicos and criminals. What she does is no different than soaking your home in kerosene, holding up a lighter, and inviting arson.

You say sensational... She is trying to destroy my way of life and endangered my person by forcing me into exposure of criminals who will NEVER OBEY THE LAW in order to further a paid political agenda.

I hope she gets ass cancer. Fuck her.

If you got that from my statement it wasn't what I meant. Some stores don't have a policy concerning carry of guns, hoping that they would simply defer to the law for whatever state they're in is what was meant in lieu of making a policy at all.

I did not get that from your statement. It was my take on what I read in the first post

The right to obey local laws. This is what she is pressuring and trying to force out.

Fuck her.
