Just for election judge though, where you only do real work 5 days out of the year:

http://www.philly.com/philly/news/Philly...years.html

Quote:Robert Bucholz, who Rhawnhurst voters chose as Judge of Election for the 5th Division in the 56th Ward, became the first Whig elected in Philadelphia in 157 years. He beat out Democratic candidate Loretta Probasco, who received 24 votes to Bucholz's 36.

I love how you only need 36 votes.. I was shocked to hear that the Harrisburg mayor only needed like 3, 000 to win..

To be election judge in a division that's only about 6 blocks in size... that's what it takes [that's how many people showed up at the polls in that div]
