Philadelphia Gun Show Selling ARs - Sales Are Brisk
#1
Yeah, what's all that hoo-ha in the capital over not putting ARs in the gun show?

http://www.philly.com/philly/news/breaki..._show.html

Quote:Gun enthusiasts flooded Philadelphia's National Guard Armory for the city's first gun show of the year, with vendors saying they'd seen high demand for semi-automatic weapons included in proposed Congressional gun legislation.

Organizers said they saw a dramatic increase in attendees at Saturday's gun show. Vendors said they were having a banner day, with many customers requesting semi-automatic weapons, including the AR-15 rifle, the gun used in the school shootings in Newtown, Conn. in December.

Attendees said they were concerned that proposed gun legislation would limit their ability to buy guns. Others said they felt stricter gun control laws won't find a footing in Congress.

By the way, Phila Gun & Archery at 8th and Ellsworth has another FNAR for sale with a 20r mag included and the FN hard case. I've found out there's actually quite a number of FNAR owners here in the city.

Quote:"I own more than a dozen shotguns & rifles, for hunting. I also have a license to carry concealed. I just don't understand the need for the auto's, AR 15's, etc. and the huge clips. I'm done with the NRA. No longer makes any sense. Just say'in." - thepaguy

Apparently that jerk off never understood the second amendment to begin with (I'll save you all that rant because I know you all know what it is about). Wait until they ban "assault rifles" and "high capacity magazines", and then some high profiled person gets their head blown off by a bolt action rifle with a 5 round mag from a considerable distance. Then we'll see how the Fudd feels when any rifle larger than a .22LR and holding more than 1 round gets banned. Angry

There were more AR's there than I thought there would be.

Prices were outrageous. There was a WASR 10 for $1400! The AR's I saw were >$2000 but it was difficult to get near every table. Wolf 7.62x39 at one table for 12 bucks a box.

It wasn't worth the admission price, IMHO.

But deer with "assault" antlers look scary, so I for one need a federal ban on assault antlers. Deer must not be permitted to "carry" more than a six point rack within 800 yards of a Fudd.

Nature abhors a vacuum, and so do anti-gunners. If an AWB passes, the look on these fudds's faces will be priceless when they realize THEY are next.

Not to mention, the .308 round they use is the same round as the child destroying M-60 MACHINE GUN OF INFINITE DEATH!!!!
