Pocket Gun
#1
I had a Ruger LCP, but couldn't stand to shoot it. The grip was so small (and thin) that it hurt to shoot. That and I couldn't hit anything with it. So I got rid of it, and find that i need a replacement pocket/deep concealment gun. Pocket carry is certainly the top goal.

I'm open to wheel guns or semi auto so any and all recommendations are appreciated. Thanks.

I have the LCP and extended the grip (I have bigger hands, since I'm tall for a girl). It is indeed rough to shoot....but I like the smoothed edges and the CT laser...and I figure if I really needed to use it, being "comfy to shoot" would be the least of my worries.

Hubby has a SW Bodyguard and likes it. It's natural grip is similar to the LCP WITH extension, so it is a tad longer grip. Edges are a little more squared. Built in laser that you actually have to turn on and off (I do not like that). It has a safety that is almost impossible to flick off (I do not like that either).

I know I'm no help, but I figured I'd tell you about the Bodyguard one.

Sig Sauer P238. You can even get 10 round mags for them. Pocket 1911 FTW!

Some interesting recommendations. I will have to check out the Airweights. I'm assuming those are aluminum frames?

Oh...and the Sig could be a great option. Who doesn't love a Sig?

How far away are your targets that you are having difficulty hitting?

I had considerable difficulty grouping inside an 8 inch circle at 20 feet while doing anything faster than very slow fire. I never shoot that poorly fast firing, but just couldn't get the hang of that LCP.

P238. Single action, short/light trigger pull, sights made for better shot placement and gun build tolerances made for accuracy.

Ammunition, it's the new lead bullion. Buy it cheap and stack it deep.
