Police and medics work the scene of a multiple shooting at Clackamas Town Ce...
PORTLAND, Ore. — The gunman who killed two people and himself in a shooting rampage at an Oregon mall was 22 years old and used a stolen rifle from someone he knew, authorities said Wednesday.

Jacob Tyler Roberts had armed himself with an AR-15 semiautomatic rifle and had several fully loaded magazines when he arrived at a Portland mall on Tuesday, said Clackamas County Sheriff Craig Roberts.

The sheriff said the rifle jammed during the 22-year-old's attack, but he managed to get it working again. He later shot himself. Authorities don't yet have a motive but don't believe he was targeting specific people. LINK: http://xfinity.comcast.net/articles/news....Killings/

The police should be the only ones with guns.

They can save you if something happens.

It only took "a minute and a half" for the first officer to get on scene.
That's pretty fast.

Two people dead.

Wait a minute...

Is it just me or has this story fallen off the front page since the stolen gun info came out? I don't watch news on TV so maybe my perspective is skewed a bit but it doesn't turn up on the mainstream news feeds that I do track.
The law? The law is a human institution...

QUICK! Pass a law against stealing guns! Pass a law about shooting a gun in public! Pass a law against shooting people! Pass a law about killing people!

Oh, wait...

And I guess the "no guns allowed" sign at the mall entrance was out for polishing that day, too...
