Politico's Live Election Resultus
#1
Politico is releasing election results live, as soon as they get the info. At current, (11:28 AM) only Coos and Carroll counties in New Hampshire district are releasing ongoing results. BO is at 28. MR is at 14. More are expected to join in as greater than 1% have voted.

These aren't truly live results, it is a violation of federal law to release results prior to the closing of the polls. Since no polls close before 8 PM eastern, at least not in the contiguous United States, this is about as viable as printing "I am President" on a piece of paper and declaring yourself the winner.

This is from Politicfo, so a crock of BS. This is LSM's attempt to build the perception that OhBlowMe's gonna coast to a win.

That isn't true.

Some polls close at 7 pm and any polling station can close when and if all registered voters have cast a ballot. These small areas have done just that. One did all its voting in a few minutes after 12:00 this morning.

Once that station closes they HAVE to release the results (well in pa at least) they post them on the door. Visible for all to see. Want to know the results of your station. Just wait until they are closed and go over there and look at the postings on the door. Takes a few minutes to about an hour until the post them depending on how much they have to record.

But they can't publicly report until all polls in their state are closed, remember the debacle of 2000.

Absolutely FALSE! The station MUST report immediately on the premises after the record the votes for final tally (at least in PA). Anyone can then report those results to anyone and that's exactly what happens ALL major networks do this.
