Where does one find a porky? I know they aren't around me, but I wouldn't mind driving a little bit if someone knew where some would be...

First off , why porcupines ? If you have a dog and we do you will not like porcs. at all !

If you must indulge in this persuit , Look up in hollow trees and just trees. I have seen them the ground but mostly , trees. We do not tollerate porkcupine and they can damage a dumb dog to the point of having to put him down , the dog I mean .( blindness) The Quills are not fun.But good luck and if you have a dog , keep him leashed !

Hell I can tell you where one lives... They live in the woods, mostly nocturnal, likes to chew on wood...

I dont know why you would want one? Yes it is the first year I think for hunting them... Just dont know what I would so with one if I got one?

For a few years I spent a fair amount of recreational time in Clearfield and Cameron counties. I only ever saw one live in the woods, but hardly ever made a trip that I didn't see more than one as roadkill.

I don't get why you'd want to hunt porkies. But, I have a love of rodents
Are they edible at all? I've had other rodents, some good, some horrible
Squirrel is great, groundhog not so much.

Fact of the matter is I suppose you could get just about anything to taste eatable. Every chef has there own little secrets like large turtles , you can change the taste of any meat.

There is no way to get seagulls to taste even remotely edible. I'd rather eat live beetle grubs.

I'll bet you a billion rupees. I'd eat almost anything before eating Seagull again.
