Power hammer...

Since I'm going to be tweaking it a bit, though I'd post a link to a video of the power hammer I built to forge damascus steel.

That's awesome!

I've got a 25# little giant that was rescued from being burred in a ditch for over 50 years. It's been a nice addition to my smitty.

Blacksmithing is bad ass! I love seeing shit that is centuries old being practiced today. If I was going to buy a knife tomorrow...there would be something special about one hand crafted just for me by a blacksmith. A Pennsylvania blacksmith is just icing on the cake!

I did have a 25# Canadian Giant (which is a clone of the LG) for a while. They are nice hammers.

Been there, done that, got the t-shirt, and made the iron from rocks.

We'll talk about me switching back when you start doing lawn work with a scythe and scissors. Big Grin

Though once I get it working a little better, I'm thinking about selling it and getting a 55# Anyang (clone of the Nazel/Chambersurg style self-contained hammers).

Oh, and here are a few of the things I've made with the hammer.

They are seam-rippers for sewing.

That's a neat hammer, but how does one use it to kill zombies?

You would need an awfully big backpack...and the zombie' s head would have to fit in there just right!

I love damascus. What metal are you forging with?
