I saw those on the Well Armed Woman, I think. No clips, right? Just a tacky material. They looked awesome but I don't know if I trust that! I know the picture doesn't show it, but I do like my waistbands on the slightly looser side. Maybe I should give one a try, though. It would be the same printing but at least minus a clip....

Sometimes I think I need at least 35 different holsters in one room, take a day to try all of them, then choose one! I do like this magnetic one....it looks similar to the sticky holster, except it has the fold over flap.

~snip~

I'm not sure about that, look at your two photo's, the thing that is printing is that big ass clip hanging over waistband.

That said, I agree that most people wouldn't give it a second thought, you know it's there so it stands out like a sore thumb.

Can you trim off some of that holster's tail?
It appears to be obnoxiously and unnecessarily long.
Could it be trimmed to about where that seam in your jeans is right above the pockets?

Also, do you wear a belt when carrying?
This will probably help keep stuff tucked in a bit closer to the body.

Now, regardless of what you have said about having 4 kids and a few extra lbs, and what others have said about not ever noticing other people, being a woman, people will be occasionally glance a look at you from behind.
Sorry, but we all know it happens.

That said, if that chunk of holster was gone, I think it would be barely noticeable.

Also, regarding your placement, once in Martins while grocery shopping I went to stoop down to get something from a bottom shelf and my cheap holster caught the shopping cart as I was stooping and it pulled right out of my waistband and was dangling on the shopping cart for all the world to see.
This is why I don't carry in a single clip holster unless it has a J hook to catch my belt and why I rarely carry around my back anymore.
I know from my ex-wife and one of my ex-gf's that carrying on your side is probably not going to be something you can tolerate considering a womans build, but you may want to rethink the way that holster clips on back there.

I'm not a belt wearer much.....I don't like how the buckle sticks out, and I don't like how they feel. That said, it might be a necessary evil.

The holster is made that way....its magnetic. It's actually created to be OWB but you can buy the opposite handed one to fit IWB. It works with or without a belt. I love how it just clips on quickly, especially in case of a potty break. Some of those clip holsters are a whole big rigamarole that you can leave on for 12 hours thanks to urinals. But yeah it does print.

On my side, it prints worse. This location was the best one.

That's horrible about the grocery cart! Oh my goodness.....any reactions?

I once used a cheap shoulder rig that someone gave to me. While I was unloading the cart at Giant (many years ago) my G26 fell right out and onto the floor between the cart and checkout person in the next aisle. There was a soccer mom in behind me too. No one noticed, I scooped it up quickly and tucked it into my jacket pocket.

That was the last time I used that POS. When I go shopping now, I normally have one of the kidlings with me, when I need something that I might need to bend over to get, I have them get it for me.

Wow. That's a good object lesson for lack of situational awareness in the checkout line!

That, or they did a great job keeping a poker face.

It was just my ex-wife and me in the aisle along with a stocker. The ex worked there so I think if the stocker noticed he didn't let on that he did.
That was some stupid kind of accident, but all due to a cheap holster.

As for belt buckles, they make buckle free belts for men, I have two.
Maybe someone makes a womans style?
I have the ones sold by Duluth Trading, about $25 IIRC.
It's not real tall, about an inch I guess high, so maybe a woman could pull off wearing one?

I looked real quick, they have this for women, maybe someone else makes something similar?

Wow! I like that! I have never seen one. Thank you! Going to research that option further.

Chances are no one will see that if you keep a long top over it. My experience has been, pants have to fit "just right" for IWB, one size bigger. I bought "relaxed fit" and sometimes regret doing that.

I can't speak to that specific belt, but I am a HUGE fan and frequent customer of Duluth Trading. Have been very pleased with my own purchases, and on one occasion I had to return something with a size issue, there was no hassle at all.

Quote:“If you’re not 100% satisfied with any item you purchase from Duluth Trading, return it to us at any time for a refund of its purchase price. Simple, unconditional, no nonsense, NO BULL.”
