My buddy sent me this earlier in the week. This is a few months old, but I never saw it up on here.

They posted this over on DU and they're all going on about how he didnt fight or our rights or way of life (but some were chiming in and defending him and saying you don't know what he fought for to the people that said that).

It's true he didnt fight for our rights but he believes he did. He believed that the politicians sent him in there to defend america. Unfortunately he was fooled. That doesn't make him wrong though. He undoubtedly is a good man. Hats off to him this day.

Most who serve, serve out of patriotism and love for this great country of ours. He clearly saw his fellow patriots and brothers torn to pieces in front of him as they stood together to defend our rights and freedoms. Whether he was used as a pawn to further an agenda that isn't inline with what he believed he was fighting to defend is irrelevant. His speech was incredibly moving and right on the money.

You wouldn't be able to run as many people over with that car if it didn't drive as far. It should only have a 10 gallon fuel tank.

Do you have a link-over? I wonder how idiotic that went.

OK so technically, the military men who actually technically died for our civil rights all hit the ground in the 1770s-1780s but hot damn that sounds like an epic case of Internet circle-jerk semantics ever. I'd like to read it, I'm a connoisseur of Internet drivel.
