I wish government would stop giving privileges to union thugs and that anti-union people would stop using the power of the state to stop individuals and unions from contracting with employers if an employer allows for it.

While I agree with the point that not forcing employers to accept unions is ideal, it's not politically feasible at the moment. "Right to Work" laws protect individual rights and Libertarians shouldn't be against that. It's a step in the right direction, not two wrongs don't make a right.

it's the destruction of contracts is what it is....

what needs to be done is repealing the original legislation that prevented unions from contracting with private businesses and unions forcing people to join the union.

Before my injury I was forced to join the Union. They wanted their dues and your time, like it or not. When I was injured and could no longer work in the construction industry they dropped me like a sack of dirt. I was on a scaffold that collapsed , it destroyed my rt arm and I had other injuries and the Union company I was working for made me walk to hospital and left me their. Their philosophy is "what can you do for us?"

I agree, but that's not going to happen anytime soon, so in the mean time, lets protect individuals with RTW laws.

Even though I'm not union I desperately hope PA becomes right to work. People should not be forced to join the SEIU and donate to the Obama campaign out of their own paychecks to further the careers of politicians who in the grand scheme of things operate completely counter to my or someone else's interests. It's disgusting they're legally allowed to do that. At least if your church decides to donate money to someone or something you have a choice about whether you want to attend or not. Choosing whether to work or not is a non-choice for most.
